Is he a better player than Dwight Gayle? Matt Richie? McCormack & Rhodes (in their prime?). For me he isn't any better - perhaps par at best, but then you have to bring in to question his fitness given it took him all of last season until the final game before he regained what looked like full match sharpness.

I also have reservations about whether Britt can make it in the Premier League give his overall contribution isn't exactly a lot. Great at poaching, which you need at this level, but speed of PL will mean he needs to offer more.

    Great business for £15m.
Yep. We've sold a player who's an excellent finisher at Championship level but couldn't trap a bag of cement. Obviously and understandably, the scoring goals part is all Boro care about, and if he helps get them promoted it will have been money well spent - they will no doubt be able to flog him to one of next season's parachute teams for a similar price. However, there are far better players moving for less money this summer.

THE TRUTH IS THERE AND WITH IT I GO TO THE END OF THE WORLD .

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Nelson Oliviera was technically brilliant but like Negredo, couldn't put away the bread and butter chances. Give me 20-30 6 yard tap ins over 5-10 worldies from outside the box... leave them to the midfield.

No photos on a scoresheet only names and the time you put them away.

Lee Chapman scored ugly goals but we missed him when he left.

Funniest bit of that interview was that he wants to be a lawyer after he retires. Seriously?! Have you heard the guy speak? He sounds like he'd struggle to spell lawyer, let alone qualify as one.

    Thick as mince

I've never seen mince with them, have you?

Not really mate. Law is still a professional career, 3 GCSEs won't get him very far

Could do a year long Access to Law course which he'd get onto quite easily.

Yep, access courses are a God send for those seeking change or development.
