I'm still fuming that we let Peter Cormack go to Liverpool!
And as for Ian Storey-Moore being sold to ManUre... I am still waiting for somebody's head to roll.

As for Britt being fat/crap etc as per the Twitter posters from the Boro': I reckon I know against which team Britt will rediscover his scoring boots!

When he play for us, he good boy. When he play for them, who he?

Same for everybody connected with football, you're either with us or against us. Disliked Ward intensely when with the sheep; now he's a good player, not dirty, just combative!

Assombolonga will come good its a bit harsh after one game to write him off. The guy scores goals and in football that is something which is vital.

Peter Cormack last match Everton away if I remember correctly. Trouble for our younger members is that they have not seen as many great players as we have and maybe do not recognise them as well as us.

I started watching Forest late 80s and its probably why i dont get excited by anybody we currently have or have had in the last 20 odd years to be honest.

That forest side then could pass and boy could it break... they could be in our 6 yard box and 15 secs later and not a long ball in sight it would be in their net.

So god only knows what you chaps that were around to see all the great sides from the 60s onwards think.

When I was a kid, Peter Cormack was my favourite Forest player. Made my mum stitch a Number 10 on my Forest shirt I wore proudly for P.E at my school in South Derbyshire. I was gutted when he signed for Liverpool.

The first player sale I got upset about was Peter Davenport to Manchester United in mid season because the club was skint.

Seeing Villa fail for all their cash last season was heart warming and stark reminder to clubs that essentially, Football is still a sport.

Unless he's scored them in Scotland in which case it doesn't count.........
