i dont see it, think i read somewhere that half his knee cap is still missing or something along those lines, no ones gonna fork 5.5 mill+ when they dont realistically know the long term effects of that.

I would only have him in for the last few games so he can get some match practice if we're faltering badly, but aside from that I'm assuming we'll be able to do enough (or the sides below us won't be able to do more) to stay up and so why risk him?

Not particularly tall but he's a fairly strong dude hence why he was always able to hold off defenders last season. Hopefully he can come back stronger. Hopefully we can find a decent partner for him to feed off.

4 points from 24, if it goes tits up against Brentford, we,re going to need Britt, and a final ball, to keep us out of league one.

The lad is built like the proverbial tank, which is why defenders can't knock him off the ball, even though he's not the tallest player.

His stocky build and low centre of gravity allows him to retain possession and then he can conjure up some magic.

Great to see him back and the goal will give him confidence. A rare bright spot in another forgettable season.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

We honestly go from a relegation threatened team to a potential top 6 team with him playing, he's that good.
So, uhm, we couldn't wait for Brit to come back and see what dougie could do with him?

He knows his body better than anyone else.

Let's not rush him back until he's fully confident in himself.

I saw a picture of him earlier you could see a clear scar, can't for the life of me find it at the moment though.

On a side note, it's interesting to see Terry Farndale in the background of that photo (far right). As I posted at the time, he wasn't unceremoniously sacked as a cost-cutting measure by Fawaz, as was the lie peddled by the usual suspects on Vital. Terry decided to take a well-earned retirement, and now assists on a casual basis at the NDA.

If he keeps progressing I'd have him on the bench for the last 4 ames of the season. Wouldn't give him more than 10-20 min, but a handy option to have if we're in need of a goal. Especially if the opposition get a man or two sent off.
