Anyway.
ANDREWS 3 LEES 1.
20 mins to go.
Why are the Johannes team not playing ?
I may have two keepers but well who cares ....
Van Breukelen
Segers
Thijssen
Metgod
Van Hooijdonk
Cmon as good as I gets
How many times are people going to try to sneak van Hooijdonk into this tournament? He's been told.
Hes a Johannes ... full name Petrus Ferdinandus Johannes "Pierre" van Hooijdonk
PvH can play as a Pierre or a Petrus. Metgod played as a Johnny. And only one keeper allowed.
The Steve's could enter:
Steve Sutton
Steve Blatherwick (Guinan could sub him if going attacking)
Steve Chettle
Steve Wigley
Steve Stone
(I did it quick so could well have missed some).
The Gary/Garry's would have had a total football, revolving position, team if there was a goalie (can't really stick Charles or Megson in there but if Forest can't put together a team of Gar(r)y's surely no club can!)
Birtles
Mills
Crosby
Parker
Hold on a minute!
Hodge in, Blatherwick out!
Colin Doyle
Colin Foster
Colin Cooper
Colin Barrett
Colin Walsh
(It's not going to challenge the John's but if Barrett takes an attacking role it's not too bad).
Calderwood, for the tan alone. He did play for us, dint he?
"Ive only met Andy....last week actually and can confirm he is in 2nd place in sexiest fucker on here stakes." -Barry
I should have read post 1 more closely to be fair, although the Colin's would be a new team.
FT ANDREWS 3 LEES 1
Right this THOMASES v DANIELS qualifier will be the final game of the day. But before kick off,I need to confirm the teams>
I think probably this:
DANIELS
Dan Allsopp
Danny Fox
Danny Collins
Danny Sonner
Danny Wilson
Higginbotham left out on the basis he only played a handful of games, and Harding left out as he's at the club at the same time as Collins and Fox and has been loaned out.
THOMASES
Tommy Wright
Tommy Graham
Tommy Jackson
Tommy Gaynor
Tom McInnes
Ince left out, because he barely played. Gemmell left out because he was mostly a Celtic player, Graham got the nod for being an England/Forest centre half. Jackson is the only midfielder and Gaynor and McInnes are needed to provide the firepower.

Yep, can't mess about. the constabulary have requested that today's play closes at 7pm because of the Forest v Wigan game. Collins and Fox are also needed at both.
Who wins? Each vote is a goal. This one ends at 7pm.
THOMASES
Tommy Wright
Tommy Graham
Tommy Jackson
Tommy Gaynor
Tom McInnes
DANIELS
Dan Allsopp
Danny Fox
Danny Collins
Danny Sonner
Danny Wilson
A lack of fire power in the DANS team. Relying on Danny Sonner and Danny Wilson for goals won't get the DANS far in a tournament of this quality. The TOMS have three Irish lads, a Scotsman and Englishman. Actually two Northern Ireland internationals on each side here. There's a few caps between them and a Forest FA Cup win. Gaynor to hit a beautiful cross-field through ball. McInnes further forward than any of them. Dan Allsopp will limit the damage. But it's the TOMS for me here. Thanks for coming DANS.

There's one or two THOMAS fans in the Capital FM Arena tonight.
Have a look at the Roger Riera thread, there are a few lists there too.
Anyway, this game badly needs a goal. It has an end of day also-rans feel about it.
TOMS 1 DANS 0
Who do you think wins looking at the teams above. Each prediction made on the thread counts as a goal.
Thomases. Not sure about their kit though.
Would there have been enough Scotts for a team?
I was a fan of Mr Gemmil
Not sure if there's a goalkeeper Scott.

Bit of a damp squib this one. Dan Allsopp came all the way from the nineteenth century for this, and he has to be wondering now why he bothered. The THOMASES won at a canter. They'll face sterner tests. I suppose when you got your tickets through the ballots you probably said 'please don't give me the day with the modern day Dannys'. But today's crowd cannot complain all in all. They were treated to the dismantling of the JACKs by the JOHNS. The performance of the tournament so far.
1ST ROUND QUALIFIER:
THOMASES 2 DANIELS 0
PAULS v WILLIAMS
ROUND OF SIXTEEN:
CHRISES 1 PETERS 2
FRANKS 0 IANS 2
JOHNS 4 JACKS 0
ANDREWS 3 LEES 1
DAVIDS v THOMASES
PAULS/WILLIAMS v JAMESES
STEPHENS v ALANS
KEVINS v COLINS

Eagerly awaiting the Kevins - Colins clash
Absolutely disgusted that Johnny Dent, 4th top scorer of all time, didn't make the Johns' starting line-up. Worst selection decision since the second leg v Swansea.
FRANCIS OUT.
The JOHNS could have played John Curtis and still beaten the JACKS
