    Default Wi-fi on iPod touch

Wondering if anyone can help, I've got the new iPod touch but it doesn't connect to the internet in free wi-fi zones like mcdonalds. It says it's connected but safari doesn't open pages and says isn't connected, anyone got any ideas, will be much appreciated thanks.

Don't think thats it. That's surely if you have an iphone and using the O2 clouds.

I have a phone on o2 and an iPod touch. In certain areas there is 'the cloud' network, but after putting in my o2 number it says wi-fi isn't included in my tarrif or something, so actually it can't be the free wi-fi they advertise.
Best thing to do it to maybe ask them, or see if they have any details on it.

You can connect to Wi-Fi at McDonalds for free. You have to open the BT Cloud page and there is a little McDonalds link on the right.

Usually when you are in a BT Cloud zone as soon as you open Safari the BT website comes up.
