    Default Its A. Knockaert!

    http://www.nottinghampost.com/Transf...ail/story.html

Pearce interested in Knockaert apparently. A bit of a Reid replacement maybe?
A quality, tricky little player. I think he would add a bit of quality in the centre in the absence of Reid.
Maybe he could be a permenant signing in the future?

He was one of the few players that I admired in the Leicester team. I'd love it if we could bring him here.

It doesn't actually say he's still interested, just that he was and he's attracting interest from clubs now.

Why hasn't he played for Leicester? He's clearly one of their best players. Something fishy must be going on behind the scenes

Seems like paper talk. Wouldn't really make any sense bringing him in, we just got Tom Ince in who plays in a similar role and he isn't getting a game at the moment.

Wonderful player, but unfortunately we can only play with 11 players.

To be fair though, Mahrez who plays in the same position has been one of their better players this season, that's the likely reason for him not playing.

    Isn't Knockaert primarily a winger?

I see Liam Bridcutt is linked with Sheffield Wednesday. He'd be a brilliant signing for any Champ team

I think Knockaert is more like Reid than Ince is. He's a bit cuter in his style of play and is more central than Ince (though Ince can play AM). I think Pearce feels its about quality and having numbers over a tough christmas and winter period. Don't blame him.

Bridcutt is decent. A strong CM at championship level.

I would chop my hand off for him. He's a wonderful holding player, I believe we almost got him last season but Sunderland beat us to him.

Bridcutt would be an excellent signing for any club at this level.

He was very good for Brighton, not sure he's had the best crack of the whip at Sunderland?

I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism

Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.

    Cattermole plays instead of him.

Could be a strong leader could Bridcutt. Wonder if Stu is looking at him because he is in contact about 3 other players.

How old is Bridcutt? Might be worth signing him permanently in Jan...oh, wait, we've got the umbongo, haven't we?

Is it just Fray who pronounces the K in Knockeart? Because if you are supposed to pronounce the k then I don't want him here. It sounds stupid and takes to long. His first name's already three fucking syllables.

I agree. Let's do away with too many syllable names. Transfer list Assombalonga and Antonio, but hold onto Fox and Try to re-sign Cox. Reid can stay too.

Alan Nixon says someone should be coming in on loan next week.
But he says it's not Knockaert.

Interestingly he also says there's a way past FFP, but he can't say it in public. Any team with money will find a way past it...

Was thinking that as well. As much as we joke about it, it is as good a guess as any.

Not sure we need a winger so much as another striker. Think we missed the boat with Chris Wood tbh, he'd have been ideal. Fryatt dead again, Blackstock looks as good as ever tbh but I am terrified watching him run that he will just break down.
