Well done to the lad. That loan last season and few preseason games has hopefully pushed him on to bigger things.

I think he needs to stop taking fashion advice from David Hasselhoff, personally.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

    Dexter Fletcher lookalike?

Your palms are holding her neck and thumbs are at her ears regulating the speed of her head as she swallows and then sucks up your machinery. She is topping up your engine oil for the cross-country coming up. Your RPM is hitting a new high. To wait any longer would be to lose prime time... She picks up a Bugatti's momentum. You want her more at a Volkswagen's steady trot. Squeeze the maximum mileage out of your gallon of gas. But she's eating up the road with all cylinders blazing.

I think we've unearthed another diamond Raymondo.

Every time I've seen him, he does not look out of place.

Wont be rushing to leave Matty Cash out of any suggested midfield combination going forward. Thought he was excellent today, strong in the tackle & every second touch got him moving forwards.

Was unlucky to get booked for that boneshaker of a tackle first half, followed it up with a very disciplined midfield performance.

Very impressed, and excited for this boys future.

Great job by the management getting him signed up to a long term deal at the start of the season too.

We've got a gem on our hands here. You can just see it.

And with players like David Vaughan and Chris Cohen in the squad, he will not be short of positive role models.

Good shout, you could see he was itching to get stuck into challenges but he stayed on his feet for the rest of the game.

Isn't it a great feeling when a young lad comes through the ranks and makes their mark on the side. I love it.

It's nice to see him willing to get the ball deep and carry it forward with purpose and like you say Chris with those players mentoring him and sitting behind him he doesn't have to worry about losing the ball occasionally, he'll get a little bollocking and then they'll give him the ball and tell him to do it again.

For me, there is nothing better than seeing an Academy graduate make it into the first team and then look like they've been there for ages.

It's the lifeblood of the club and in the modern, money-mad top flight era, we need to be bringing this sort of quality player from our Academy.

Said it in pre-season against Hull. This kid will go far, because he is a listener. He listens very well to his coaches, will only get better if you do that.

Has an excellent centre of gravity and uses his body to go around players fantastically, not the strongest but uses the strength that he does have very well. Must have the Wigan central midfielders dizzy from the amount of times he turned them.

If we didn't muck up the last few years we could've been bringing these youngsters through in the top league. Ho-hum. We'll get a couple of golden years with them in the squad

He's a bang on all round good guy, polite, humble, hardworking, ambitious without being arrogant, eager to learn, close with his team mates, a listener, as you say & IMHO a future captain either here, or somewhere else in his future.

I can't believe our academy picked him up from Bisham. I think as the years go by there'll be a few clubs kicking themselves for missing that one.

In just a couple of appearances he's shown he's both good enough and ready to play at this level.

Be nice to think we can keep hold of them and have our very own golden generation. Didn't do clubs like Southampton any harm.

Excellent game. Got a nice turn of pace to get past players into dangerous areas around the box, seems to have an eye for the right pass too. Should be featuring a lot this season.

100% agree. Worthy of a starting place. Can he play goalie?

It's great. Vaughan, lans, kasami, Cohen, benny. I was thinking we needed to sign an extra centre mid with fitness worries over Vaughan and Cohen. Yet we seem to have got it from the academy. Brilliant

Referee was just stamping his authority on the game. Had the tackle happened 20 minutes later IMO he wouldn't have even blown up for it
