Cotterill on Spireites v Bristol City

Would definitely be a genuine excuse if it actually happened.

If half the squad contracts ebola, there must be something wrong with the training methods.

    Classic Cotterill.

I can't wait to see this thread if they come here next season and get three points.

Three years to the day since the dark period of his Forest tenure began.

    The hapless buffoon. For sure.

Bristol City are seven points clear of third place now. Emotional return to the banks of the River Trent next season for Cotts. Which manager will he get the boot after Bristol City win at the City Ground next season - Freedman, Petrescu or other?

Can't wait. The saviour returns. I hope he gets the hero's reception he deserves.

    Leeds (a), W 7-3, post-match interview...

Robin Chipperfield: "And the fans were even singing your name towards the end of the game. That must have been nice to hear."

Steve Cotterill: "They've been singing my name all season, it's nothing new."

RC: "To be honest, it's the first time I've really picked up on it."

SC: "They've been singing my name since I got here. Tonight's just the first time they've sung nice things."

Even the haterz have to accept that was pretty brilliant.

Imagine If SP had taken over the club then , it would have been one way hoof , hooof , hooooooof route to league one and Fawaz wouldn't have been our owner now and we would be on the verge of bankruptcy , selling any and every good players we have.

    ...and we'd all be dead.

Some fans easily forget this. But if Pearce was still in charge we'd all be dead.

I'd say there's a difference between a hopeful hoof and a long ball to a winger that's actually in a good attacking position. We're seeing more of the latter these days
