I had to mute it in the end. God only knows how Robbie Savage is still getting those gigs.

I only saw the shoot out. He kept saying every kick had gone in the same corner until one didn't. Then he said "ooooooh the pressure"a couple of times. "Go on, Wales" when James scored. "Go on, Fred" when Fred scored. It's like having the bloke sat behind you at any given football match doing the commentary.

I commented to a ManU supporting friend that it was like having Sky Fanzone on with Savage cheering every positive United move and demanding red cards for Villareal players.

    Via Twitter...

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Anyone else wholly turned off and irritated by the wall to wall, blanket, trouser wetting coverage of Ronaldo ?

The Beeb have gone completely overboard with it and social media isn't much better.
Ronaldo arrives at the training ground for the first time (apart from all the times he's been there before)
Ronaldo leaves the training ground for the first time
Ronaldo gets into his car at the training ground for the first time
Ronaldo gets home after leaving his first training session for the first time
Ronaldo has a shit for the first time.

More than half of Manchester doesn't give a toss and the rest of the country cares less.

Eh, it's easier to get excited about one of the best players in the world playing here again than it is for Ryan Yates fucking up another 5 yard pass.

Also interesting that United have invited Ryan Giggs to the director's box for today's game. What a message about their morals that sends to the world.
