It's amazing how much time they can spend on a story with so little actual information available.

I remember that trial being in the papers. It was at the same time that a protest had been going on about a father who'd been jailed (Strangeways I think), for assaulting a man who'd abused his daughter.
It was during the last week of my 7 week stay at the North Wales Hospital in Denbigh (for depression). When I was discharged on the Saturday, I made my way to Rhyl and caught the Bartons bus to Nottingham to come and stay at my mums for a couple of weeks. While on the bus, a fellow passenger gave me a copy of the sun to read. And there inside they revealed the identity of the sex offender that had been assaulted along with a photo. His name was Raymond Griffiths and he'd beaten me in the final of a pool competition held on the ward the previous day. He'd been on our ward for about a fortnight.
During the 77-78 season I went to a lot of Wrexham matches with a steward who lived in the same street as me. So used to go into the Centenary club for an hour after the game. Peter Adamson (Len Fairclough) was there most weeks.
Macclesfield expelled from the National League.
Southend facing a Winding up Order at 10.30 this Morning, first of many I think.
King's Lynn Town having a bit of a torrid time in the Vanarama League after a bright start. Didn't expect too much, if I'm honest, but we can but hope.
First started following them 60 years ago, but have to confess that for the major part of that time, I have had just a passing interest in their progress, or lack of it most of the time.
However, when your non-league team suddenly starts a rather unexpected rise up the leagues, it sparks a bit of interest which counters the marking time of your first love.

This Alfreton Town footage made me laugh. The lad goes around watching different clubs, feel sorry for his girlfriend...
