The Linnets managed a 5-1 win in midweek and came back to draw 2-2 today in what might have been their last two matches of this or any other season, but several sizeable donations to the fighting fund (mostly from Norwich City supporters trying to help a fellow Norfolk club) have offered some hope.

They really need to end the National League now. Non-league football is totally unviable without crowds.

Stop the season now and go to PPG.

Carlton Palmer has just been announced as the new Grantham Town boss.

A big name but I have no idea what he knows about football at that level.

He was terrible as Stockport manager. Can't imagine he's improved much since then.

Don't remember him pulling up many trees at Mansfield either.

Anyone else see Phil Brown's interview after Southends game?

He looked bizarre with his long hair, pink shirt and paisley neck scarf.

He looks bizarre at the best of times but I wouldn’t mind seeing that

Is that Phil Brown or Jeremy Irons?

What's happening with regards to relegation from the National League given that the North and South Leagues have been voided.

It's not happening. I think Dover start next season with minus 12 because they (understandably) cancelled their fixtures and furloughed their players given that there's no crowd and no income, and no point completing the season as they weren't going up.

I did notice that they had stopped and yes as you say it is understandable. It's also a bit silly to give them the points deduction.

Cheltenham Town - a club dear to the hearts of many Forest fans because of that game have been promoted back up to League One from League Two.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

    "... AND CHELTENHAM HAVE SCORED!!!"

What a fantastic day that was. I ended up about three rows down from my seat after the place erupted.

I took my daughter and her family to that game. They thought every match was like that!

Biggest celebration I’ve ever witnessed at a game for a goal in another match

Sacking of the week: Keith Hill at Tranmere. Appointed in November, when they were 13th. Took them to 7th, and the playoffs, despite winning only 2 of the last 11 games. Now sacked before the playoffs begin.
