I'm sure it'll be good, their new single is great. They've got another gig at the bar above the rough trade record shop in notts that I've got tickets for, looking forward to it.

I left early that night and messed Django Django. Peace and Palma were terrible. Miles Kane was brilliant and has been the 7/8 times I've seen him.

Can't vouch for any of the others but Slaves are superb live. Looks like a good line-up.

Saw the Manics at the Albert Hall Manchester just before Christmas, performing Holy Bible album in full. Half time break and then some of their hits.
Seen them numerous times but this was one of the best gigs I've been to, electric atmosphere.

I've had tickets to see them twice before and missed out both times due to work commitments.
However, the Hairy Dog is my local so I shall make it this time, 3rd time lucky and all that.
I have heard some good reports about them though.

Just booked tickets to see Drenge at the Rescue Rooms in April.

Night out in Nottingham, that doesn't happen very often.

Just secured tickets to see Joe Bonamassa at the BIC in Bournemouth in October.
We saw him a couple of years ago and it was a memorable gig... hoping for something equally memorable.

If work gets in the way as it so often does, I'll chuck the tickets your way.

Awesome Ferocious Dog lite gig in the Brown Cow in Mansfield last night. Had a promotion from surfboard to surfer too!

    What didn't you like?

I though slaves + fat white family were very good, not sure about the other two

Slaves were alright, I wasn't surprised about them. Aggressive, energetic and fun.

The other 3 sounded exactly the same, it seems like prerequisite for British indie to scream out of tune and not be able to play your instrument the second you walk out on stage.

I'm also convinced that thr FWF singer was lip syncing. It was just bloody awful.
