    Haha.
I think there were some stats on there for the 5th tier as well(including consecutive
seasons at that level,of which there are several traditional old clubs).

A length of contract means nothing.
I wouldn’t bet on it. Since that Saudi lad wrestled full control from McCabe, they have:

Sacked the best manager they have ever had or ever will,
    Got relegated,
    Sacked Jokanovic within months,
Hired Heckingbottom on a huge length deal.

I have an inkling he doesn’t know what he’s fucking doing…..

If they had kept Wilder, they'd probably be challenging for promotion right now.

I didn't understand why they appointed Jokanovic when they didn't have the players to suit his style and weren't going to back him financially.

And I don't understand why anyone would appoint Heckingbottom, his record is absolutely dreadful.

Sheffield United's owner is clueless and very fortunate that he had Wilder's success to cover up his shortcomings for so long IMO.

Are we sure Fawaz is actually a Kuwaiti, and not this Saudi fella instead?

Seems a low number to me

I'm sure there's usually more by this point.

We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Blackpool, Forest and Sheff Utd the most likely for me to break top six.

QPR, Blackburn and Stoke will all end up with a low 70s total I reckon. Have been expecting Coventry to drop off but were too deep into the season now to write that off as luck so have to put them in the low 70s bracket too.

It we can get 6 points from our next 3 then it basically means needing 40-45 points from the second half of the season to get top six. It's not impossible but it's a big ask still, especially if its the higher figure, that would be top 2 form.

30/09/2021: It's only 8 points to the play-offs. Doesn't matter if we're 20th having lost three times as many games as we've won so far. I fancy us now that Hughton's gone.

Sheffield United will be closer to the bottom three (if not in it) than the top six with Heckingbottom in charge.

We look set for a midtable finish, which considering the circumstances is absolutely fine with me.

100% agree with you Ashley don't see ourselves, Sheffield or Blackpool troubling the playoffs at all.

The latter have been punching well above their weight I'd expect them to finish closer to lower mid-table by the seasons end

Most of us would have snapped your hand off for that, two months ago.

The club is moving - slowly - in the right direction under a progressive and open-minded coach. Let him get on with it and build up some momentum.
