Rotherham's play Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday this week (QPR, Coventry, Birmingham), which may well determine which league they're playing in next season.

    One down two to go...

Still rather Rotherham beat Coventry. Close that gap to a point.

Coventry win that one, and Derby have a chance to go seven points clear again on Friday with a win against a Blackburn side who haven't won in eight.

Rotherham beat Coventry and Derby know that anything other than a victory and they could be starting the following game in the relegation zone.

    Scoreboard pressure.

I think Wycombe are gone. Blackburn and above will probably get the few points they need to stay up here are the games from here to the end of the season for the teams 18-23 from which the other two relegation teams is most likely to come.

Some cracking six-pointers in there if Rotherham can keep applying the pressure on the teams above them.

Forest can surely consider themselves - ahem - „on the beach“ by the time it comes to play Wednesday and PNE?

Three more points should be enough.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

I think we've pretty much done it now tbh.

Rotherham have played 38 and are on 39, we already have 49 points (their average suggests 46) and even if they win their 3 in hand will still be 1 point behind us.

Birmingham might have almost managed it as well.

It's Coventry, Derby and Hudds who might get the 3rd place if Rotherham escape. Too many teams in the way really for it to be us now, and they aren't all going to start winning, they're at the bottom so a repeat of last season is unlikely.

Avoiding defeat against Brum or Huddersfield in the next 2 should seal it, although I feel like we will win at least one of them if not both. We are playing very well atm.

Rotherham have got to play t‘Barnsleh as well.

Might be some Yorkshire solidarity there, especially if the Tykes have already secured a playoff place by then.

Barnsleh might send some of their more important squad members away for some relaxation at the Wheel Tappers and Shunters Social Club.

Forest were pretty much all at sea at this stage last year too.

If Rotherham were to get 4 points in their home games against Coventry and Birmingham this week, several
teams(especially Derby and Huddersfield)may need a swift change of underwear. However,I still feel the odds
are against them due fixture congestion and exhaustion.

Wouldn't read too much into fixture congestion, they'll just do less training during the week. At this stage of the season when you're battling for points then that's not going to make a huge difference.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Rotherham win tonight, still think Derby will be alright but they can sweat until the rest of the season eh.

Does the Pope wear a funny hat?

Does a bear shit in the woods?

Hell yeah we want them relegated.

We want them to suffer the purgatory of League One, as we once suffered. We want them to have to sell their best players and brightest prospects, and have to suffer the ignominy of away trips to Carlisle United, Hartlepool United, FC Chernobyl and Hell FC, and be mocked and ridiculed by pundits on Sky Sports, to such an extent that their fanbase doesn’t want to show itself publicly any more.

And we want them to suffer this equivalent of football sodomy for decades, if not longer.

This is one of those boring down days where Derby can't be edged closer to division three. Hopefully won't be too many of those over the next three or four weeks.
