Has that had a PS5 update? Awesome if so. Freddies tip is sound advice - the voices, man.

No but it is covered in warnings about it possibly not working correctly on PS5, it not being on the PS5 store because of this. I ignored all of that and downloaded it from the web store.

    Will stick the headphones on.

Enjoying 'Manifold Garden' at the moment. A puzzler, and frustrating one at that, that rewards in a way that 'The Turing Test' and 'Witness' both did.

I sold an original mint copy of Secret of Mana for a good 3 figure sum recently. Thought I'd done well until I read this.......

Got a Currys code for a PS5, £500 for the disc version plus another controller. I've not played my ps4 for months so not sure about getting one.

Interesting dilemma. I've had moments where I question my decision. Mostly because a lot of games I play are still PS4 and/or PS4 with PS5 patches to enhance frame-rate and load times etc. Therein lay the rub as it has given me the motivation to pick-up older games again and these features alone i.e. loads and FR do enhance the experience.

The only game I've played on it that has felt truly next-gen is 'returnal' but I put that down because it was too much of a slog for me. Oh, and 'miles morales' was good.

Retro game market has boomed during lockdown. If it's in good nick you'll get a good price for it. I made well into 4 figures on SNES & Megadrive carts.

That Zelda game was topped by Mario 64 selling for $1.5m....

Jesus. Sentimentality means I don't think I could stand to sell any of my old games. I have a massive amount of C64 and SNES games just sat in boxes in the loft. Majority of them shit football games I would wager.

A sealed Super Mario 64 game has just trumped Zelda, think it went for 1.6 million.

Sorry didn’t see you’d already mentioned that Alf

If I had any I wouldn’t be able to sell them fast enough Sell them to people with more money than sense and use the money to create more memories with my family.

Loved it, it has a very God of War feel but I preferred this. I really liked the combat and the mental illness/psychosis aspect makes it much more interesting. Quite short as well, which is a nice change.

Escape from Tarkov had their semi annual wipe about 3 weeks ago, right in time for me to start on my big boy job. Haven't been able to play like I used to, I love that game.

Nice one, cheers Dan .Have it on my Wishlist so gonna grab it.

I don't mind long games when they're justified, but recent years have seen WAY too much bloat in games IMO. Glad it's on the shorter side.

I’m a bit late to this but I’m fairly confident this was a case on money laundering and someone ‘bought’ there own copy for 1.5M as Super Mario is not worth that at all, sealed and graded or not it’s still not worth that.

As I'm playing through all these games (300 odd down, around 1000 more to go ) I'm actually finding some of the lesser known titles holding up better than the popular ones. Especially on SNES. On SNES they've repeated and bettered the forumla for a lot of games such as Mario Kart.

Biometal, Blackthorne and King of Demons are cracking titles, but all the Retro Groups are obsessed with is Mario games and Chrono Trigger

Playing Ni No Kuni 2, and to say it's too easy is an understatement. I have only healed once in the first 3 hours and that was only to see how it works, not sure I have dropped below 50% health at any point.

Yeah, weren't keen on it. Really got into JRPGs again since being isolated, and this weren't my cuppa cha.

Tales of Berseria, now that's a JRPG. Funny as fuck.

No, I played Vesperia, that was quite good apart from the back tracking to certain dungeons too often. I keep meaning to try Berseria.
