Been playing Twelve Minutes, a clever "loop" game where you have to work out what da fuck is going on and what to do to progress the story and complete each loop. Tough but fun and very clever.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

San Andreas is still the best in the series IMO, closely followed by Vice City. I loved the fact that you could see other parts of the map, but couldn't play there until unlocked. With GTA V you can just go anywhere off the bat.

I don't remember much about GTA III though.

    Vice City was great.

But I say that as a massive fan of Miami Vice and also the Al Pacino version of Scarface.

(And yes, I loved it in Vice City when If you achieved a certain level of notoriety, you’d get chased by a Ferrari bearing two characters who looked suspiciously like Crockett and Tubbs).

Vice city has the sound track but SA was the first open world game that made you sit back and say wow.

It's probably my age but I do think SA had the best soundtrack

    That's my christmas present sorted.

Remember jumping in a jumbo jet on SA and flying across the whole map to see how long it took and was just like fuck me this is ridiculous. Each area really felt separate and unique.

Mercs and Metal Gear Solid inspired game "Metal Dragon" released this past week for the SEGA Megadrive......

    Gameplay....

It's mint to see such cracking games coming out for a 30 year old system, and embracing the high-intensity, adrenaline-fueled philosophy of the era.

I am not holding my breath for much difference from the PS2 games, which I already own. Maybe more loot boxes and pay DLC's added.

I hope they don't change too much. There is certainly room for improvement graphically so many years down the line and that in all honesty would be enough for me. I also remember the controls for car stunts were a bit tricky. Helicopter flight too so hopefully improvement there..

I'm sure they will want to maximise profit by chucking GTA V style multiplayer on and additional purchases but I'm good with the solo storylines.

Modern control scheme and some more songs (as they had lost the rights to something crazy like 40% of the original soundtracks) would do me really.

    Plus the usual visual improvements.

If it is also on mobile, how much of that is realistic? Genuine question, I have never really done mobile gaming so I have no idea what is possible with it.

Neither do I, I'm assuming the console versions will be different to the mobile versions. Maybe out of hope

I had a quick look at upgrading my xbox, saw that nowhere is getting any stock and straight away fucked it off until next year. Sod paying over the odds, they are going for £500-600 on ebay.
