Seeing mixed reviews on the GTA Trilogy, and none as glowing as I'd hoped for. It's put me off buying it TBH:

Yeah, just reading this review of it......

Fuck that. As DapperDan says, a thoughtless, lazy cash-grab.

If you've got a PC, may be worth checking this modpack out instead:

Some of the pictures and videos of the problems with the GTA trilogy have had me in stitches over the last few days, so it has at least provided some entertainment to be fair.

the easiest remaster of all and they still managed to fuck it up, are they Activision Blizzard in disguise?

I don't get the current gen of consoles. It's all remasters and rehashes anyway.

I'll get a PS5 but in around 2-3 years when there's a bigger list of quality in the library, and the editions with all the bugs ironed out are available.

Steam and GOG are just so choca of mint cheap games too that I still wont have played them all by then.

If you want to play GTA just dust off your old PS2. The ‘remasters’ look like a complete shambles. Some things are better left in the past.

Managed to bag an Xbox Series X at 5 this morning from Smyths. Smyths in Leeds Bit of a trek but went straight from work at 1 and got back at 5. £450 for the console and about £20-30 on petrol so think I’ve done well there. They are pretty damn hard to get hold of. Going for £600+ on eBay now it’s nearing Xmas.

Can't decide whether to try to platinum Bloodborne. The only trophies I need are the ones that require you to work your way through the chalice dungeons and that is the one part of the game I find a chore. It just seems daft to stop when I am so close, but it could be an ordeal.

I've got the Access stream where they try to do it to watch, can't wait. I wish I was good enough to do it

I bought Demon Souls this weekend. Not got out the first area, died 5 times in 30 minutes. Fucking game

Yeah, I watched that earlier. My character is around 20 levels higher than Robs, but I don't have two others there helping me at all times so I wouldn't stand a chance without constantly beckoning strangers in to assist me.

I was considering getting Demon Souls but I figured I would still be playing it come the time Elden Ring is out and I don't want to get Souls fatigue.

There is some truth to this, but there are some absolute gems too with more coming. I can't wait to get stuck in to Ghost of Tsushima on the PS5.

'Cricket 22' delayed by a week so they can include new player stat categories; 'racism' and 'misogyny'.

This has had me literally pissing my pants!!!

What a shame it isn’t well done. I spent hours on these games in my 20’s. About 4 years ago I dug out the ps2 and initially played San Andreas. I really got in to it and didn’t feel it was bad at all, very playable except the ludicrous flying missions. Anyway I then went back to vice city which was really clunky and terribly backwards. Yet at the time i played it endlessly and thought it was faultless! Anyway looks like I’ll avoid this game, may pick it up when it comes down in price I guess but a real shame

    Found Marse‘s Alt account.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Got the platinum trophy for Bloodborne today. Feel kind of lost now. Just got one more trophy for the DLC and then I will have 100% that also.

Played '19 and the previous ashes, DB 1 & 2 (I think) quite a lot. I liked creating a player, an off spinning-middle order smasher so will look forward to using my points in the racist and misogyny stats. Hopefully they bring in sexting and sledging too, would be a good use of the controllers mic to put the oppo off and show the admin lady my length.

Just playing through these at the mo. Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors; Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward; and Zero Time Dilemma.

Heavily influenced by the SAW films, you're basically locked up in a similar way and encouraged to kill. Great games......

Gameplay is C&C puzzle-novel stuff, which is pretty straightforward but does contain some genuinely interesting puzzles too.

It's right up there. Probably the game I've gone back to the most. How the hell is it 10 years old now?
