I’m the opposite, I do everything in one play through Then if I want achievements or to do anything else, do a second game where I don’t care about fudging anything.

I’d be the most boring person to watch, spend fucking hours exploring every nook and cranny just to see what’s there.

RDR2, like GTAV, was insane. The amount of little things they put in the world, which might not necessarily be part of the gameplay but just add to the whole atmosphere and experience. I love that stuff.

Mine was more out of sheer panic not wanting spoilers. The story was sublime when I had no idea what would happen next.

Yeah to be fair I absolutely rinsed the game every night when it came out and avoided reading anything about it.

It’s a shame they don’t bother with story dlc any more because I would love a Sadie Adler bounty hunter one.

They wont. All the money is online. Gta was meant to get single player DLC and they fucked it off in favour of online. Shame really.

Gta 4 had brilliant DLC for single player. The lost and the damned was better than the original game

Lost and Damned and Ballad of Tony Gay were ace. I know GTAV and RDR2 had a load of side story stuff anyway but you know... we want more of that good stuff.

Red Dead 2 had one of the greatest stories of all time imo up till Arthur's death. I think it was one last big hurrah on Rockstars part in regards to single player games, I think the greed of making so much money from GTA Online has seen a big shift permantly to their values unfortunately

It was because the original map from rdr1 was included so they left the base structures in place from there. I went over there before they patched it and there is nothing.

They had to do that in the story though to explain why he isn't in the original.

I totally get that I just thought the epilogue after was mostly unnecessary and dragged out.

I liked the epilogue, it fleshed out why you were put in that position at the start of 1 for me.

And the insanely cool bit where you end up doing the cover art for 1 at Laramies farm

Agree mate. Was the perfect way to end the game. Western films aren't usually packed with action and the slow bits in the epilogue fitted the genre perfectly.

Loved building the house to that ridiculously catchy tune

Playing through the original is completely jarring after the 2nd. With how Important Arthur was to John and Dutch it's weird that they don't reference him once.

Obviously that's due to Arthur not existing at that point in the heads of the writers. Would love a revamped RDR1 with added extra dialogue and references to the characters from the 2nd.

What’s this new Marvel game that’s coming out all about? Read there’s some fuss about characters being exclusive to Playstation and Spider-Man won’t be on PC or Xbox versions and that other characters are “DLC content”.

Sounds like an atrocious ‘game’. Can’t they just make a full game and release it any more?

It keeps changing as it goes on. The date keeps being put forward for release too. I'll wait and see is the best way to view it I think

Started on RDR2 after the last few posts. Still not enough time to do it justice but enjoying it.

Just watch out for the mutant in the swamp, and the inbreds at the pig-farm.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”
