When you consider the whole county hasn't really had any footballing success for a long time now the potential is massive, you can see why we are such a pull for owners. If Forest got a 50k capacity in the Prem I feel like we would fill it.
You make a fair point Razar, although the Saddies' decent gates only ever occur with the help of £5 tickets, whereas our lot will routinely turn out without that enticement.

Add to that Panthers too, who pre- COVID were getting capacity crowds at the Ice Arenas - what’s that capacity -, it must be at leat 4.5K?

All things considered, Nottingham produces good crowds relative to its size, as can also be illustrated when we held the Women's FA cup final for a few years running at the WFCG about 10 years ago.

I don't disagree Otis. But the attendance for the national league is excellent even if they were giving them away.

If we were a one club county we would attract massive numbers. You even look over at Derby, they have a whole county to themselves over a huge area - yet they have always had similar if not less crowds than us and we are a 3 club county which is smaller in size.

Even throw in Leicester as well, another 1 club county.

I bet the sheepshaggers won't averages over 20k in L1 like we did over 3 season that we were in that hell hole

If you’re counting Notts County as one of Nottinghamshire’s clubs, then surely you’ve got to count Chesterfield as the second Derbyshire club?

Chesterfield is miles away from Derby though. It's pretty much a part of the greater Sheffield area at this point.

Nottingham has Mansfield Town, Super Notts, the Panthers and a successful cricket team alongside Forest. Notts and Derby are incomparable as sporting cities.

That sadpie needs informing that NCFC unsuccessfully attempted to introduce a one-city/town one-club rule when the Football League was originally formed. The change of heart highlighted by that article was solely motivated by the reality of missing-out on the Saddies' largest home attendance of the season.

He also needs to be reminded that before the bucket-collections for his club outside of the CG on a regular basis during the '60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, pre-WW2, a blanket was frequently carried around the perimeter of the CG pitch at half-time on behalf of Notts County for Forest fans to chuck coins onto.

So, Richardson to Murder Lane on loan for a month. On the face of it, it could be useful for him to get some regular football for a few weeks in anticipation of him being required back here in January.

    Playing attractive forward-thinking football.

Their young coach is from Leicester & started at Leeds academy.

Spent time coaching & being assistant manager under Brian Deane and then Graham Potter in Norway/Sweden.

Sounds like Jayden Richardson has been quality too with with a number of assists and scored his first goal vs Wrexham.

Sorry Otis. Too much praise for them I know.

Yes,I reckon Notts are serious contenders for a return to the EFL this season(although the competition looks
    fairly fierce).

Yuv gotta help the poverty entrenched nondescript amateur neighbours.

In ten years time IF the improvement continues they could be in the 3rd division :
