Christ, that list of players makes good reading. Cheered me up, that has.

It shows it's possible, and that are current manager has managed to do it in the past.

From both that list and DF'S targets, it's clear he sees qualities in players and is prepared to focus on them instead of their negatives.

But you only have to nip over to the Abdoun thread to see how many folk are willing to give that a chance

I'm all for Dougies renegade masters this season. Sadly, our own snobbery and sense of self-righteousness will likely undo us again, as we sacrifice what's good in the clamour for what's perfect.

I presume most people will have put their thoughts in one of the two other threads you created. They may even have put their thoughts in the original Matt Mills thread.

Would anyone take Patrick Bamford on loan? Chelsea don't like loaning at to the same club again, and won't be too bothered how much of his wages we pay.

Yea. If he can be a success here he can be a success anywhere

Newcastle and Sunderland interested. I suspect Chelsea might want him to play in the prem like they did with Lukaku (even though they eventually let him go). He's 21 now so he needs to continue his rise in the quality defenders he's up against. Sunderland and Newcastle are no threat to Chelsea.

Matt Grimes from Swansea a lot more realistic for me.

Suggestion is (from Nixon) we should have a loan in for a defensive midfielder by Monday, or at least have decided who we want.

Ben Toszer is a name that's come up a lot. Good player and highly regarded by hornet fans. Even kept a Pep out the team for the most part.

He'll tear it up at Leeds this season, fantastic signing for them.

    Adel Taarabt anyone?

Signed a five year contract with Benfica last year but has been stuck in their reserves ever since. He was in Germany a couple of weeks ago after agreeing terms with 1860 Munich but the deal was apparently called off. Same agent as Guy Moussi and Floyd Ayite, not much connection there but who knows with Pedro at the club?

As some may know, I work in Hucknall. A work colleague of mine knows Joe Worralls dad & says he's been approached by both West Brom and Everton to join on a free in the summer

Your palms are holding her neck and thumbs are at her ears regulating the speed of her head as she swallows and then sucks up your machinery. She is topping up your engine oil for the cross-country coming up. Your RPM is hitting a new high. To wait any longer would be to lose prime time... She picks up a Bugatti's momentum. You want her more at a Volkswagen's steady trot. Squeeze the maximum mileage out of your gallon of gas. But she's eating up the road with all cylinders blazing.

Whatever club he plays for doesn't really matter. Fact is he's shit, and also a ****. Same as Cumdog Cummings.

Most recent source I can find suggests his contract runs until 2022. So, at least 24 months?

(Might want to check the date on the post you were quoting too...)
