Anyway grown ups cricket starts next Wednesday exclusively on Sky
Exactly Ed, Osses for courses. I think it'll boost interest in cricket amongst the young guns significantly over coming years, which won't be any bad thing for the other versions of game either.

I'm absolutely thriving on it coz, not only am I immature, but it's such a great contrast to Test Cricket (which I also enjoy for other reasons). If Test Cricket is the ever dependable, high caliber wife material, The Hundred is a great little exciting tarty knock off to keep things spicy.

Between this & the Euros it's been a superb Summer of sport so far.

I was very dubious about the 100, in fact I couldn't have given a toss. However I watched it on the tele over the weekend having a few beers and quite enjoyed it. Last night I went down to TB with a mate as it was cheap as chips to go and see and really enjoyed myself. Cracking game, good atmosphere, well supported. I still think the T20 is my preferred choice of short game cricket, but it's not often you get to see so many world class cricketers on the same pitch, which is what we got last night.

Lord's today, Ageas Bowl tomorrow and Sophia Gardens (with restrictions) Saturday are sold out for the Hundred. Interest is growing.

Nobody was to know because the draft was before the pandemic, but Rockets did better than most with their overseas choices. D'Arcy Short and Rashid Khan made it over. And they nabbed de Lange from Manchester.

Phoenix for example were supposed to have Kane Williamson, Shaheen Afridi and Adama Zampa. They got nothing out of Chris Woakes either.

Even he'd be smashing 6s with those junior school sized boundaries

What a game that was and Samit Patel is such a bossman. He’s been doing it for so long. Carter was the best bowler and I thought De Lange has fecked it up. D’arcy shorts innings was very good.

I also thought Rob Key was so bias towards London Sprit, or was it just me being over sensitive!

Went to Lords to watch it and enjoyed myself. After a while it just becomes cricket. 14 from 4 balls is just a cricket chase.

Still don’t really know why they needed to change the 6 ball over to 5 ball blocks, but was a decent night out.
