They did. He was also sat on the bench with Vardy when Leicester famously lost to Watford in the play offs.

I’ve tried to watch Lincoln v Liverpool but I can’t, it’s just a Liverpool bum fest

Opening credits to Sky’s league cup coverage is a montage of goals from previous finals, surprised not to see 4 times winners & 2 x runners up Nottingham Forest on there

Fuck right off Sky will ya

Hopefully Liam Bridcutt and Jorge Grant will put in a good shift.

Be nice to see Grant score.

Last time I looked, it wasn't going too well.

Though despite Klopp sitting in the shadows, his teeth were still gleaming. Radioactive ?

Liam Delap may be playing for a mega-billionaire team, and be schooled in the ways of tiki-taka, but can he take a long throw in like his old man?

This years League cup is clearly showing the now vast gulf between the "have" and "have not's"

    West Ham 5 - 1 Hull City
    Chelsea 6 - 0 Barnsley
    Morecambe 0 - 7 Newcastle
    Fleetwood 2 - 5 Everton
    Lincoln City 2 - 7 Liverpool

I don't think a single Prem team lost to side in a lower division? (could be wrong can't be arsed to check properly)

And the above teams will be playing basically a reserve side surly it undermines the whole tournament when the top sides kids can beat a League 1 side by 5-6 goals?

I think lack of crowds play a part here.

Sincil Bank would have been packed. Not exactly intimidating, but the support helps.

Without the crowds it's just a game of football between one side that is much better than the other that might as well be in a neutral venue. The more technically gifted aren't put under the same pressure. Nobody is hurried into making mistakes. And without mistakes, the PL side wins easily every time.

I think we've seen in the top leagues too. Just a hunch, but I think favourites are winning more games.

I agree, without an intimidating atmosphere or heckling from the crowd, players can play their normal game.

and still the fuckers are shoving their U23 teams into the EFL cup, got to make sure the PL can muscle in on every possible bit of glory

I thought about this sort of thing funnily enough as we drove past Lincoln and the signs for the stadium on our way back from the coast yesterday.

Watching sheff u leeds game. Osborn doing well. Lots of smart link up play. Shows exactly the type of player we’ve missed since he left.

Keeps the wheels turning, looks to go forward and gets stuck in.

Seems to have cut out a lot of the ‘unforced errors’ from his game too.

It’s now so you can see it!

Osborn always the players that other fans pointed out as our best player... didn’t stop us thinking he was shit !

Not good enough to be 7/10 at everything. We’d rather a team full of fast wingers

Sheffield United have signed too many Forest players. They've taken part of the curse with them, can't put the ball in the net and conceding late.

Early days but they aren't looking the best as things stand. Think the signings they've made this summer are a bit iffy, was understandable signing higher end Champ players last summer but they look in need of a bit of Premier League quality to me, underdog status will only carry so far I think.
