We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. Watching Brighton, brilliant to watch Lamptey is absolutely electric on right side. Should be as at least 2 up. If, big if we go up, modelling similar to Brighton wud be useful. Potter n Cooper seem to share similar principles.

Agree. The kit thing used to be so simple; if shorts clash, just stick on black shorts or whatever. Now there are such arcane rules that they have to have lawyers to understand them. And having so many kits just compounds the issue.

Don’t know if anyone saw the interview with Graham Potter after the game last night.

Was asked about the fans booing at FT he essentially said “ they don’t understand football, we are 8th in the Premier League? I think the fans need to remember where they have come from” or words to that effect.

Yeah and good on him. Brighton fans are painfully shit. They have a half empty stadium every week, and are probably playing the best football in their history.

I remember commenting on here a few months ago when they were playing Arsenal (in a half empty ground) that we'd be selling out every week if we were in Brighton's position.

Currently top half, playing good football and are becoming an established Premier League side, yet their fans are booing or not turning up to games. It wasn't that long ago that they were playing in the lower leagues and didn't have a proper ground, so the mixture of apathy and a false sense of entitlement from their fans is really odd. Potter is bang on.

It's amazing how entitled some fans become with even just a bit of moderate success.

I remember a few years ago Swansea fans getting all restless about not qualifying for the Europe League when only a decade previous they were plying their trade at the bottom of the Football League.

    Ridiculous.

Every team in the EPL has a majority fan-base that suffers deluded entitlement. And none more insufferable than the fucking Geordies. Even before the takeover.

Fingers crossed Norwich can pull off a thumping victory later to further add to their misery

I'd love for Forest to become a decent established Premier League side and win a trophy like Swansea did. Ungrateful bastards.

There was a bug in the forum software that caused a loop condition when a post received a certain number of dislikes (or any number in excess of something ridiculous, like 2, if I remember) that then caused a memory leak and slowed the entire forum to a crawl.

So it was disabled, to save us the grief of having to reboot the entire forum every time it ran out of memory.
