Known a few folk try these and they binned 'em straight off. Common complaint being that they actually tuned the guitar out of tune.

One lad said that when all the strings were supposedly tuned properly they obviously weren't when playing, and that you could hear certain strings were obviously out of tune on playing the first chord.

It's a bedroom gimmick really isn't it? Fanny about with it for convenience sake when nobbing about, but an on-stage disaster waiting to happen.

Seems appropriate on an SG, with that long bendy neck.

That's fucking quality. Think he's actually reaching his pomp by the look of that.

Love it. Drum, bass and vox as basic as you get but still sounding mint. Absolutely sweet.

I thought these would be all hype but I know a few folk who have tried them and they are really impressed.

Might have found my perfect amp! I mostly play at home so I don't need volume and I can never crank a tube amp enough at home to get the power tubes cooking, for that lucsious tube breakup, without incurring the wrath of Mrs B and the neighbours. I love the sound of this little 1 watt Supro though, tube overdrive at living room volume levels! Just got to pluck up the courage to tell Mrs B I'm thinking of getting some new gear...

Ever see a guitar and think it's just perfect? B&G Crossroads Twin Sister. Non-cutaway, P90s, f-holes, trapeze tailpiece, wood binding, ebony fretboard, slotted headstock, chunky neck. Everything I could want in a guitar. Even the jack plate is really cool!

Sounds great as well, they just keep saying "I wasn't expecting that!" through the demo.

First in a brilliant series of videos on the true, microtonal blues scale. It amazes me how much teaching material on blues guitar is published without even mentioning this stuff but it's what blues guitar is all about.

Thought I’d done a Tony Iommi today, hit one of my important finger tips with a Stanley blade scraper at work. Thankfully only halfway in and didn’t take the tip off, still a bit of a mess though.
Needs to heal quick as I’m playing bass in my missus’s staff band in December. I’ll be in the doghouse otherwise.

    Ouch!

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

    Hurts does that.
I took a slice of the top of my thumb a couple of years ago with a Stanley, still got the scar.

That is easy to say and I can do it but you try doing that on makeshift stage in the corner of a pub with half the audience shouting orders to the bar and the other just making strange noises.
Electronic tuners are a must on stage these days.

Clapton's tech seems pretty uncomfortable on camera and hasn't got a lot to say. But there isn't that much to say. One Strat, one acoustic and a couple of spares, a Dumble Bandmaster and a spare, everything on 7, a wah and a Leslie pedal. That's it. The rest is talent...
