Personally I wouldn’t touch Trask, if you want a guy in that mould go for Mac Jones, I feel good about Jones in the draft. Newman was a weird one. Loads of hype going to Georgia and then opts out. Personally it is because I think he got told he wasn’t going to be the starter. Personally I don’t think he is worth a draft pick.
Paye is a stud, he is going to blow up the combine.

No I think he is a late first, I fully expect a team in the second half of the first round to take a punt on him. I’m not saying this to take the piss either, I’d be more worried about Mac Jones in SF than I am about Trey Lance.

So did this:

And it says KC Chiefs which seems a bit cheating to me.
"Ive only met Andy....last week actually and can confirm he is in 2nd place in sexiest fucker on here stakes." -Barry
The fact that helmet-to-helmet contact is "not reviewable" in the NFL is an absolute joke. In college, that KC player would be ejected for targeting. Don't let the posturing by the league fool you. They have no interest in protecting players.
No way Mahomes should be allowed back in this game he looked like he had no clue where he was after that hit be interesting to see if he is allowed back for his safety I hope not
Looked like the Browns player was trying to pull his head off.
Crazy.
„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“
„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Browns now have a great chance to win this game!!!
Game on, it seems.
That was a gutsy play from the Chiefs backup QB, harshly just short of the first down.

Someone’s been photoshopping
Motor City Dan! Love the guy already, smashing faces and eating kneecaps!

If reaction on social media is a decent barometer, Dan seems to have rather fired-up the Lions faithful already.
There’s a massive job to do in Detroit, but he’s absolutely night and day difference from the previous incumbent.
There is a good podcast which I listen to while out running SB Nation Pride of Detroit very in depth look at everything Lion related the most recent episode is all about Dan's time as interim coach in Miami they have Palm Beach Post's Hal Habib, Dolphins beat writer on the show and it gives a good insight as to what to maybe expect from him as a coach. He sounds like a tough but likeable leader who the players will respect and like unlike our previous coach who
specialised in upsetting just about everyone and everybody he came in to contact with treatment of Slay was ridiculous.
I am pretty happy with the hire of Dan Campbell he has a massive job and I think that he and Holmes give all long suffering Lions fans reasons to at least
be optimistic for the season ahead. We need a very good draft and that should be where Holmes can shine given his previous role with the Rams as college
scouting director.
Aaron Glenn as Defensive Coordinator is a great hire too. He was very highly thought of in New Orleans.
Matt Stafford didn’t fancy eating kneecaps then?

Carson Palmer was traded at age 32 to the Raiders for a first-round pick and a second-round pick so a first and second rounder gets you in the conversation maybe for Stafford.
It depends on what teams are willing to give the Lions starting position should be a minimum 1st and 2nd
rounder Saints/Colts/49ers and the Pats maybe Panthers lots of landing spots for a very good QB.
I would prefer to keep him but he wants out so I hope we get a great offer from a trade partner.
I take that with a pinch of salt to be honest. I think every QB needy team in the league will have picked up the phone to the Lions to ask about Stafford.
In terms of compensation, a first and second seems fair, but it could easily become a bit of a bidding war. For a team who are close (like the Colts), I think you could end up getting a couple of firsts and a day two pick. If your the Colts (or someone of the ilk) you have to be confident enough that he can push you over the top, so you’d be picking in the 26-32 range next year.
Whatever compensation you get, you’d assume it gets thrown at the Dolphins to move from 7 to 3. So Fields, Wilson or Lance. Maybe an outside bet is taking a flier on Darnold. Makes the top of the draft a little more interesting now.
