But the whole affair seems a bit odd.

Or if you had a visit from, let’s say some acquaintances of Lebedev‘s father...

If even half of that is true it’s not just corruption it’s straight ahead no holds barred treason.

Like the CEO wouldn't know who was coming. Sitting prime ministers will come with a huge amount of paperwork to ensure processes in place to protect them. Even former prime ministers travel with bodyguards who carry weapons that need to get through security.

The idea the CEO got confused as to who it was is frankly ridiculous.

That's if they don't leave the weapon on the aeroplane seat.

I want this Ricky Coxon piece to be factually correct.
Despite that, before I believe a word of it I want to have it verified by genuine fact checking agencies, and the evidence laid bare for all to see.
I will attempt to fact check the article myself, but I doubt I will be able to prove it or disprove any of it.
Surely it can't be too difficult to determine whether or not Blowjob did go to Perugia?
As for the rest, who knows how to prove or disprove it.
Finally, just who is this Ricky Coxon, and how did he verify any of the statements in the piece?

You'd think if true, there'd by now be some CCTV footage.

Whoever Ricky Coxon is or isn't he wasn't the person who broke the story. It originated in La Republica. Here's the English version. https://www.repubblica.it/esteri/202...ia_-267989244/

The guy behind it (Antonello Guerrera) is very much pro UK, and doesn't really have a dog in any particular fight.

Although interestingly his partner(?) and child are currently in Italy.

Regarding CCTV I don’t recall anything coming to light during Cummings jaunt to Durham and Barnard Castle either.

Meanwhile, those loveable scamps from the Alternative für Deutschland are in the news again, sacking a spokesman for making some outrageous comments about migrants.

Christian Lüth is alleged to have said Germany should take in more migrants, as it would be „better" for the far-right AfD. The longtime spokesman is reported to have added „we can always shoot or gas them later."

    Oops.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

He should have suggested a work camp or an education centre. That would have kept the media away....

On a serious note, how much press are they getting over there? I'm guessing/hoping it's as much as Yaxley-Lennon gets in the UK?

Its a little more, because unlike their knobhead British counterparts, the AfD does have some representation under the PR system, so they are considered a „legitimate“ party.

Of course, most people who aren’t out-and-out racists know them for exactly what they are, and what they represent, despite their (frequent) protestations to the contrary.

Thank God we can rely on sensible two party politics in the UK.

That's not condoning AfD btw, but this country would function far better if there was a wider choice of political alignment than we have now imho.

    I agree.

It would edge out parties at the fringes like UKIP, who would have had much less traction if they'd have gotten some recognition. You only need to look at their local government results, where the barely ever were returned bybtheir local electorate.

Shine a light to see the blemishes.

I saw Laurence Fox described as looking like 'a freshly wanked cock' the other day. Marina Hyde talks about him looking like he's slept in his car. He's obviously not well, and while part of me thinks we need to hound him for his repulsive views, another part of me thinks someone somewhere needs to tell him to go and sit on a quiet beach and find some perspective on life.

I'd be interested to see where the money is coming from for this. Is it a few nostalgic cranks who want to see Jim Davidson back on TV, or is it a bit more sinister?

I'd expect it's the latter, Fox is a well spoken and educated person, familiar to many as the sidekick to the sidekick of one of TV's more popular detectives, who the cap-doffers and bootlickers usually lap up populist rubbish from. The financial backers would never put serious cash into the likes of Davidson or Tommeh Ten Names because they know at some point they will say something completed brainless and offensive which removes their credibility.
