Civilization V
Never played on it but want a game that is along those 'make a town. Inavde stuff' games as I want a game for the Macbook that isn't FM.
Anyone play it or has suggestions.

loved civilization revolution on the 360, but its a dumbed down version of civ 5 so i hear and im not one for micromanagement.
id deffinately give it a go, the balance in civ rev is great and ive heard nothing but good reports about civ 5

rome total war is a bit old but mixes turn based and real time well. im not a bit rts fan so dont play that many

Total war games are very good if your patient enough to get into them. The battles from both videos are actual gameplay, not just cinematics.

I was 5000 years into my game before realising.

Do the tutorials and grab as much territory as possible is my personal tactic.
My mate went for the 'have a massive well protected capital and few other cities.
I went for the massive empire of little cities.. because I had Stalin as my leader so wanted realism
