    He is 27
Last season he scored 3 goals from 17 games at Luton after joining them in January. This is in the blue square premier league

It would be much more impressive if he scored 25 goals in 16 games.

Although I'm a Forest fan I've seen York quite a bit as I've been at uni there and this lad is a good player. He tries hard and creates things, he scored a stunning Rooney-esque overhead kick against Grimsby last weekend, and he's got a bit of fight about him. I'd rank him as better than Tudgay. Alright it's the Conference, but you can still see things like creativity and effort in a player. I don't think Tudgay, Garner and all that dross having the same impact as this lad does in the Conference.

27 is a late age to be looking at a striker, especially one in non-league. If he was 19/20 it'd be a good idea.

    He's pure 'wrong turn' material.

No disrespect, but I'm going to claim "bullshit" on this.

Why waste our time and money on a 27 year old lower league player, when we could just shove Bamford in for a game?

Yes that single strike against the Mighty Hayes and Yeading has clearly proven that he is good enough for 2nd Division side Forest.

    Well done Paul, well done.

    He could be Ian Dowie.

Dowie isn't ugly, that word just doesn't do him justice.

Do you really think he is better than Tudgay?

Tudgay is so underrated it's unbelievable

I think Tudgay has his moments, he crops up with important goals and rarely misses chances. But for me he goes AWOL for so many matches on the bounce, and when you watch him there is none of the movement which Findley gives you. He's a good finisher but he never really has much presence or impact on the game for me. When people say Miller isn't bothered, I think the same could be said for Tudgay.

Were you at the game today? Some of those criticisms of him seem a tad harsh to be honest.

Wasn't there today but for the rest of the season he's not done much for me. Take Middlesbrough for example, one tap-in proved vital but that was all he really offered. But I never said I disliked Tudgay altogether. As I said, he rarely misses chances.

His work rate against Boro made him one of the standout players!
