Default Europe's Top 50 Leagues Compared

Statistical analysis of Europe's Top 50 Football Leagues by total attendance figures.

Includes figues on UEFA Rankings, Major European Titles won, Average Goals per Game, Home & Away win percentages, Average player's ages, percentage of Foreign Players, Average & Total Attendances, Matchday Population percentage and Stadium capacities and more.

Did you know that as a percentage of the population, over twice as many Scots regularly attend SPL matches than the English attend Premier League games?

    Hmmm.

    Championship....EC/CL titles....0.

I'm sure there's a team in the championship with a couple of European Cups.

Surely this is because there are so many big clubs in England outside the top flight. The average Championship attendance on that list was 17000. I'd say if you took football as a whole people watching leagues in England would outstrip Scotland. Even in the Conference and Conference North and South you regularly get crowds in the thousands and even below that the hundreds. I'm surprised League One wasn't in that list.

Well yes, but you won those European Cups when you were in the Top Flight of English football.

Fair enough, I suppose I was just being pedantic really.

I want to go to an Estonian league game. 158 average attendance... intimate!
