What are your favourite games of all time on any console?
Mine are:
LMA 2005 on the PS2 the best managerial game not on the computer, just a great game!
SSX Tricky on the PS2 great snowboarding game and not ultra realistic.
Sid Meirs Sim Golf on the PC create your own course and play it simple yet brilliant.
Cod 4 on the PS3 best COD of all time they've all gone down hill since.

For me its the Uncharted series. Beautiful.
And the old Getaway games for PS2.
Twisted Metal 2 on the Playstation!
Oh I almost forgot Goldeneye on N64! Now thats a game.
GoldenEye is my favourite of those listed but I'm going to stick with Ocarina of Time as obvious a choice as it is. Can't wait to play in 3D
Vice City & San Andreas on the PS2
Premier Manager 98 on the PS1
The old Sonic games (1, 2 & 3D) from the 90s I used to play all the time on the Megadrive with my bro when we were kids
One of the best! I have fond memories of multiplayer with my mates. So much endless fun could be had from that game.
As for mine, I'm going to go in order of what consoles I've had. As a 26 year old, I expect you think I'll start with Commodore. Well I don't, my parents were stingy and it took me a while to get into gaming properly!
Atari Lynx (Hand Held console - I'd be surprised if anyone ever had heard of this)
California Games and I guess Slime World
Mega Drive
Sonic 1, 2 & 3 - To this day, I've never completed a Sonic game, but I still have good memories of playing this with friends.
Fifa International - First game I had for the console. SO much fun, I remember being able to run away from the ref when he booked me
European Club Soccer - Awesome because it was so shit and impossible to score.
Playstation 1
Final Fantasy VII - My all time favourite game. Ever. It's the only game I ever played with the 3 S's - Storyline, Soundtrack and Sgraphics.
Destruction Derby II - I love racing games with a bit of twist, this certainly had that element. I loved the old destruction element.
Poy Poy - If you've played this, you're instantly my best friend. Look it up, it is the best multiplayer game ever made.
Crash Team Racing - I was never a nintendo man, so I didn't get the whole Mario Kart thing. This was the PSX equivalent.
Fifa 98 - The best FIFA made IMO. You all remember the indoor arena. Amazing.
Twisted Metal 2
Final Fantasy 9 - The second best FF I played. This was nothing short of excellent.
Playstation 2
I never bought a single game for this which warranted my love. Tony Hawks 3 I guess, but meh.
Xbox
Halo 1 & 2 - Awesome mega game. Sweet bam bam boom.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - I played an awful lot of xbox live during this time and I'd go as far as to say this was the best online multiplayer on the xbox. It's just the whole setup of the thing which brought a whole brand new element of co-operation.
Burnout 3 - This massaged my long neglected Destruction Derby organ. So much adrenaline involved in playing it.
Xbox 360
Portal 2 - I might be being a touch crazy here, but I reckon this is in the top 3 Xbox 360 games I've ever played. Absolutely 100% perfect. It was also the first game I played where the dialog genuinely made me laugh out loud.
Assassins Creed - I liked Prince Of Persia on the xbox, but AC just blew the fucker right out of the water. The whole freedom element of the thing I enjoyed the most. The battles got a bit repetitive, but that didn't take the shine off.
GTA IV - This was the game all the GTA's were building up to. Saying that, I only played the multiplayer, so it's hard to comment.
Halo 3 & Reach - Amazing and AMMMMAAZZZINNGGGG.
FIFA 10 - Since I've played 11, I always think back to how good 10 was. I really liked it.
PC
Not much here, I didn't play that much PC. But when I did, I played the following:
Portal 1 - The original, while obviously not as brilliant as the sequel, was a still a feather in Valves cap. I played this till I couldn't think no more.
Natural Selection - An often unheard of game, which was part of the old valve system before steam came into play. Amazing multiplayer.
Trackmania - Probably the most unique game on this list. Build your own tracks, race on them against other people. Sweet.
MOTHERFUCKINGDEXTERBLOODYBLACKSTOCKOHMYFUCKINGGODY ESGETINYOUMOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FUCKINGHAVESOMEOFTHATYOUCUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Geez, does anyone remember Street Racer? That was Mega Drives Mario Kart, in my eyes
Meh.
Frogger takes some beating.
Rocket Raid on the BBC Micro
Elite. A masterpiece.
X-Wing (& X-Wing v TIE Fighter) for the PC. Many many many hours wasted during my degree.....
Boot PC. Press F8.
DOS=HIGH
DEVICE=HIMEM.SYS
How on earth did we ever manage to play anything... Well, Quarterdeck created QEMM, which made memory settings much easier...
It's too easy these days...
Toe jam & Earl
Shining Force 1-3 (Mega Drive/Saturn) - The greatest tactical RPG's of all time bar none. Better than Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea. It kept things simple and with no complications at all, and it is why it is so very much the best.
Sonic 1-3 and Knuckles (Mega Drive) - The original is my favourite of the three/four as it mixes the speed of the hedgehog along with good solid platforming skills. Sonic 3 and Knuckles though is one hell of a game.
Sonic CD (Mega CD) - Take all the best things of Sonic 1 with the spin dash and the super peel out, and then add in time travel which shifts around the levels layouts and you have the best game to appear on the ill fated Mega CD device.
The Secret Of Mana (SNES) - Probably the best action/adventure game I have ever played. Zelda is a lot of fun too, but Mana wins it for me. Three players, lots of upgradable weapons, good challenge. Great game.
Resident Evil 2 (Playstation) - The best of the Resident Evil series by far. Yeah, the controls are clunky, but I think that adds to the whole survival horror, and there are four scenarios to play through.
Bayonetta (X-Box 360) - Over the top, ridiculous, but god damn did I have a hell of a lot of fun playing this game. I can't think of anything above this on the 360 yet that I have played that tops this one.
