Dead Space 2 vs Mass Effect 2

Anyone played them both? If you only had time to play one, which would it be?

I can see Argos have Dead Space 2 for £25 which is good, and these lot called shopto.net, who I've never heard of, have Mass Effect for £30.

These look like the two best games to try for me, but can't decide.
