After having trailer after trailer for it shoved down my throat over the last few weeks, I've already decided I hate it. Even if i watch it and don't, it's shit.

As soon as I see the phrase "season 1" I know that however good the initial episode is, the rest is more than likely to be wash rinse and repeat.
Every season based programme than has to involve an increasing number of more and more ridiculous plot twists.
And eventually every multi-season programme becomes exactly like every other, and eventually disappears, like the Yufuselem bird, up its own fundemental orifice.
I started watching Line of Duty with the Mrs maybe a couple of seasons ago I think. I really liked it because I hadn't watched the first 4 seasons or whatever.

But I literally said to the Mrs after the most recent episode... that twist at the end was stupid and wasn't explained at all. They are turning this into a Corrie/Eastenders type thing where so many crazy things happen in one small place it gets a little silly and the original appeal is lost.

Dexter was the same. Brilliant first few seasons, a couple of so-so ones, an amazing season with Jonathan Lithgow in it, then a few more bad ones before a shit, open ending.

Breaking Bad did it right though.

That's how I felt. But then my wife started watching it and it wasn't bad.

'The flight attendant' and 'shoved down my throat' reminds me of a very unpleasant mid-Atlantic toilet trip I once had.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier is a must for Marvel fans.......last one in the mini-series next week.

    I can’t wait.

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

Line of Duty has more twists and turns than a Billy Davies playoff season.

Your palms are holding her neck and thumbs are at her ears regulating the speed of her head as she swallows and then sucks up your machinery. She is topping up your engine oil for the cross-country coming up. Your RPM is hitting a new high. To wait any longer would be to lose prime time... She picks up a Bugatti's momentum. You want her more at a Volkswagen's steady trot. Squeeze the maximum mileage out of your gallon of gas. But she's eating up the road with all cylinders blazing.

Anyone else think that Stephen Graham would play Billy Davies well?

    Germans? Here?

Possibly the single greatest episode of any comedy sitcom, ever. It’s absolute comic genius.

I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Probably more entertaining than a snooker match between Steve Davis and Billy Graham.

I hope they tie up most of/all the loose ends.

I’m fairly new to it having started with last season (Mrs has been watching from the start) and already I feel they are cramming a few too many twists and red herrings in. I get that’s part of the appeal but don’t overdo it.

Anyway, I’m on the Ted bandwagon, he reminds me of Horacio in CSI Miami who just had so many awful one liners, in a it’s bad but funny way. I feel like this will be the end of Ted and if so I hope he goes out with a bang.

I haven't watched the last two Falcon and Winter Soldier episodes. Keep forgetting. It's no WanderVision for me though.

The last two are very good; the finale is amongst the best TV episodes Marvel have done (IMHO).

Just starting S2 of Better Call Saul.

Enjoying it more than BB. Mainly because Jimmy/Saul is a million times more likeable than Walter, who was a massive c***.

It was all right. It was no WandaVision for me. I thought WandaVision was brilliant. It was unique, bit quirky and there wasn't even two people having a fight for the first seven episodes. Not really standard Marvel stuff, like this was a bit. That was my favourite thing.

This, like Captain America was more Bourne Identity/Daniel Craig Bond sort of action. That's not my thing. But I suppose that is what Captain America is like. At least the Winter Soldier movie was. And Captain America was a bit dour. And hung up over a woman he didn't even go on a date with seventy years previously. Some stalker tendencies there. We didn't see what happened when he went back in time to live with Hayley Attwell, but bet it was weird. That and the ouvert nationalism - worst Avenger. Anthony Mackie has a bit more charisma, but the Captain America Friends series was going to be bit straight compared witches and retro sitcom pastiche. Bring on Dr Strange.

Loki next, isn't it? Could be good. Loki's a fun character, and Hiddleston's always good.

    Yeah, Loki next.

I guess for TFATWS, it maybe makes more sense if you know the characters, not just the two protagonists but also US Agent (who, I’m sure, we will see again).

I‘m looking forward to Loki though, that could be epically good.
