lol these are making me chuckle muchly
You could just go for the tree coming out of a cooling tower in honour of the proximity to Ratcliffe on Soar
Also, West Ham and the original QPR badges are quite slick too.
We come in at 65 I haven't watched beyond yet but thats the first English so far..
Edit:
West Ham 60
Chelsea 53
Bolton 41
Lewes (Division?) 39
Man City 32
Celtic 28
Arsenal 17

If you were to remove the FOREST text away, the Nottingham Forest badge would still be, amongst the most recognisable logos in football if not the most recognisable.
There's absolutley no requirement to change or replace it. I love it.
Even with a proposed move to Gamston, the association of Forest with watersports is not a bad one!
the badge on its own just resembles the atomic bomb ploom of hiroshima
EXACTLY!!!!! I see no reason why anyone would want to change it. From a design perspective, one of the key signs that you've got a good logo, is that you can remove the company name, and it still remains instantly recognisable. The Forest logo has that.
I think it also achieves a great level of simplicity, there is no unnecessary decoration - because there doesn't need to be, it really is one of the best designed badges in football, purely from a design perspective. It is one of the only badges in football (that I know of) that actually has a strong idea behind its design, the great oak flowing into the river trent (also acting as the ground), you can understand the idea straight away.
Anyone can draw it - its one strong, bold line weight, just one strong, bold colour. Truly great design.
It is an instant classic and every Forest fan should be proud of it.
does anyone know why the stars are not represented on the away shirt?
wow... are you an art student?? you mind is... fascinating...
