Well folks, Cardiff fans are well and truly resigned to losing Whittingham now, it's really interesting to the fact that they believe he could have been a one season wonder, this is why Forest won't be paying anything like the 2mill suggested....

I do tend to agree with the Cardiff lot that it was only last year that he stamped his mark and made a name for himself but to actualy score over 20 goals from midfield the lad obviously has an eye for goal ....
Couple this with the actual team that you are playing with, the right manager who plays in a way to the teams strength and i think IF we did sign him wed be onto a winner!

Still a few fans on there who rate him. I'd be very happy with him coming to us

They have a point though. Up until last season he didn't really do a lot, but every player has to start at some point, and this just may well be the start of him turning out to be a very good player.

I think way too much is made of his goal-scoring record in previous seasons, he's a winger... and you don't score that many goals in a season by chance.

He's not a one season wonder, he just happened to score more goals than usual last season. He is a very good overall player and very consistant. Maybe if he comes to us, he won't even score 10 goals this season, but he will provide a lot more to the team.

No ones there today, so Congos mate said.

I'm in Wales, but its a bit difficult to see from here because I'm 230 miles and a four hour drive away.

I have a feeling if Whittingham is going to sign, it'll either be tomorrow or beginning of next week. I'd doubt we're going to see him move today at this time...

If we actually sign this guy, this thread will probably turn into the longest thread ever!

Thats completely untrue! I never use my binoculars for peeping.

I prefer to get up close and window lick.

They say hes a one season wonder, but Majewski didnt score many along with Cohen and Anderson and we would still class them as very good midfielders in our team. Doesn't mean that much that he has't scored much goals prior to this season.
