a little bid on the Cardiff forum about PW.

City are trying to get in a Centre Half from the Premier League and they have been talking to West Ham, amongst other clubs, I am told that there are 2 players which City are interested in at West Ham and they are Danny Gabbidon and Callum Davenport, I am told that if any of these came it would be one and not both.

With regards to Chris Riggott, City have arranged a game next week in which they will play him, the opponents are likely to be either Plymouth or Hereford. City are monitoring him closely because of his previous injuries.

On the injury front, OJ is fit to play tomorrow, as well as McPhail but McNaughton will miss tomorrow but return for Hull. The long term injuries are Chopra and Comminges.

Peter Whittingham has a contract offer from City but Whittingham knows that Forest are offering more, PW wants to stay at City but the contract on offer is a long way off what Forest are offering, the club want to keep Whitts but what will the player do ?

We will hopefully see a signing in the next few days and possibly another next week if Riggott is considered to be ok and we will see one or two move out.

Good luck to Ross at Leeds.

Knew about Riggott a while ago, his wages are measly apparently, compared to what he was on at boro.

Surprised Derby don't try and re-sign him tbh, him being a sheep shagger an all.

As pointed out earlier that poster is that much of an ITK he doesn't even know that Davenport has left West Ham and is a free agent.

    Less credibility than Lyttle Des.

    Exactly Col.

We may as well just give up, and prepare for a rapid descent to the Beazer Homes League (or whatever it's called now).

That whole article looks merely like some lazy journo regurgitating the same tripe in order to fill up some column inches.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

That's were we have been going wrong. There was us driving up to Wales to try and sign him, why didn't we think of this before. Get Marthur on the next flight to wales then we can sign, do you fancy getting on the same flight pal and telling us all the untold secrets behind the scenes at our club aswell.

So Cardiff have now got Bellamy, Keogh, Koumas & Olofinjana on loan with their respective clubs paying just £111k per week so that the Welsh scum can cheat their way to the Premiership in order to pay off existing creditors. And all within the rules! You couldn't make it up.

Something has to be done about this. How can the football league allow a player to sign for someone and they only pay around 20% of the players wage. They should either scrap the loan system all together, limit it to 3 players at a time, or insist that the club pay at least 80% of the players wage.

I feel sick at the thought of Cardiff getting promoted this season as they've done it within the 'rules', when we all know they cheated the system. It makes me hate football and the way it is being run.

I'm frustrated that we've not signed anyway and I think we will finish mid table this season. But I'm pleased that we've done things right. If the cost of Premiership football is our integrity then Cardiff are welcome to it.

One final warning to Cardiff, Risdale tried the same gamble with Leeds and the Champions League. Lets hope he hasn't set Cardiff out on the same path. It didn't work out to well for Leeds.

Rant over, come on you red, 3 big points to play for today.

haven't got off to a flyer have you .. early doors yet
maybe your just waiting for whitts & pratley lol

mr zero7 may i pull you on a few of your stupid comments

the loan system is also there for you to use .. if your to tight to use it then fair enough but dont take the moral high ground with those that do .. i think dave jones has done some fantastic business over last 3 weeks with the full backing of the board ... your manager and board are doing feck all and it will cost you i guarantee it .. we have kicked on again from last seasons disappointment but forrest are just stagnant .. and your results to date show

your pleased that you forrest have done things right ?? ... im glad for you lol .. i hope you go to bed tonight with a warm glow that you team have not strengthened whilst your rivals have used the loan system to good effect to bring in premier league players with the aim of going up to said league in the next 9 months

perter ridsdale .. old news my friend ... keep up

you gotta be in it to win it
top of the league says it all

feck buying players .. use the loan system to get there first

It's a little hypocritical for us to moan about Cardiff paying only a fraction of Bellamy's wages when we did the same with Nicky Shorey last year.
