Forgetting Whittingham and Pratley for a moment, believe Cardiff are ready to let Ross McCormack go out on loan / permanently. Personally I'd like to see us have a go in for him, as think he's a good player and would provide more options / important cover up front especially with McGoldrick out for another couple of months or so, Garner gone and Adebola really looking past it

We are constantly reminded about how we should be grateful to ND as our kindly benefactor by the official website and the local press. We are informed that we would never survive without his financial backing. Noo doubt it is true that it will be his money that will be the deciding factor as to whether we succeed in getting back to the Premiership.
However, I still reckon that his taking a gamble on spending a few million more than he would really like to, would not cause him any significant discomfort. Would he really be in trouble with his wife if he did this . Would he have to cut back on on a few luxuries like a weekend break, or budget more carefully on buying CDS and books and restraurant visits. I'm sure this is what many Forest fans do in order to find the money to renew a season ticket, year upon year.
C'mon Nigel, just take a gamble and buy Whittingham and Prattley. Push the boat out and buy a decent another striker to back up Earnshaw and a decent defender to push for a place in the back four. While you are in the spending mood for goodness sake buy a goalkeeper in case Camp gets injured.
