Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Both clubs are clearly making it look like they have done everything.
Everyone knew this was going to happen yeterday including the players involved.
Cardiff Cheif Ex looked STRESSED! And was obvious Whittingham wants out and turned down a deal. They have not said he is not for sale and the silence from both players is golden.
Its a very clever game we are playing, patience forest fans.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
can we hit 50pages before we found out if he coming or not? lets get talking about whittingham everyone.

Ok, some people were suggesting that their silence on the claims of Mark Arthur hinted at us having the!m on board. I think Arthur has just talked us out of them ever selling to us!
How will the fans react when their chair men come out and say this only to sell to us a few days later............ Dont think they're going to come now!
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
come on, people jump on mark arthurs back if he doesn't speak, and the same people jump on his back when he talks with clarity.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
MA's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't by the fans at this club isn't he!!!!
He sticks his neck out like we've been asking for, for ages and he still gets slated, unreal!
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Did I slate him? Who's jumping on his back??
I just said what I think will happen, not whether he was right or wrong. Am actually glad somethings been said. The silence was doing my head in more than anything!
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Their are things you do say and things you don't say in this case its good MA has said something but on the other hand he has gone a tad too far with naming the Targets.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
the buying club should not name a player untill a deal is done really.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
This is ****ed up now, can't see swansea or cardiff selling...
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
can see both handing in transfer requests then coming to be honest. All an elaborate plan no doubt to make it look like Cardiff/Swansea have done everything they can. Doughty and Marther are clever people despite what anyone wants to say and there is no way they would want their names or the name of the club being dragged through the mud.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Notice in the Dave Jones he reapeted several times 'either put up or shut up'.
What do you suppose that means?
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
pay 3 million or shut the hell up and thats the bottom line because Dave Jones said so !!!

Nottingham Forest will indeed sign Whittingham and Pratley this week, as Mark Arthur's clever statements have made it untenable for them to remain where they are. Despite both clubs wanting the positive PR of seemingly trying to keep hold of their stars, both players have made their representatives perfectly aware of how they feel, and it's those representatives, at the players' request, who have voiced their desire to Forest.
Tapping up by the way, is when you talk to a player without a club's permission, not when a players' representative volunteers a players' position on a possible move to a new club. It's exactly why the Fabregas saga rages on unpunished, Forest and Arthur have done nothing wrong, now get over it all you Swansea and Cardiff fans getting annoyed that your star players want to leave, and casting baseless accusations.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Seems on the swans forum who are the most upset.
Cardiff seem to think Whittingham is going and accept it. Plus they think Sheff Utd are dirty cheating sods so they not all bad.

I agree with the Sheff Utd statement For what Chris Morgan did to Iain Hume he should be banned from football.Plus Nick Montgomery is a nasty ****er too along with Cresswell.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Blackwell is to blame, some may say he's just picked up from Warnock but hate him far more.
