I've had a look at those Cardiff and Swansea forums and it makes for some tough reading.
The layouts are terrible. Messy, even. So congratulations StuC and everyone else involved into making LTLF the absolute bee's :)
Problem is other clubs will come in for him between now and then if we leave it that long.
But even so Cardiff get nothing...
This is quite odd considering forest never comment on this kind of stuff.
Very uncharacteristic from marthur
His performance today may indicate whether his minds on other things
whitts not in cardiff line up?????
yes he is, my mistake...
They were never going to leave him out. That would be sending out a message to Forest and admitting defeat. They are just playing the transfer game.
I wouldn't read to much into his performance today.
I think Cardiff want more than we are going to pay and I don't think they will budge.
True ATM they have a player that is unhappy apparently if the rumours are true regarding him not signing a contract but if they do decide to let him run it down I think a few premier clubs that are more appealing to him will join the que im afraid.
Think about it - Tyson played for us yesterday yet we're all hoping to cash in on him by convincing Blackpool he's Premier League quality. Oops - shouldn't have let him play, should we...
He's playing because they only have 15 players in their squad.
To be honest, he's playing well... but does look a little dis-interested. :olol
I would be worried about about signing any player that is not giving 100% regardless of his circumstances. He is a Cardiff City player until they accept a bid and he should continue to give his best for them.
There is along way to go on this one and I would not be surprise if we are gazumped now that it is out in the open.
I hope Forest know what they are doing on this one and its not just a case of showing the fans that they are trying to sign players in order to keep us quiet.
He's playing quite well, he's a little in field and is spraying the ball over the Sheff Utd defence at times, looks very good.
I'd be more concerned if he wasn't trying his best.
His performance today will show his professional mentality.
Lets see if he does a "goodbye" wave after the game finishes...
the last time we made transfer news publiclly through the club was for wilson wern't it?
You're right about Best, but the difference in that situation was that the player himself wanted to come to Forest, but there was some doubt whether the Forest management wanted him!
From the comments of Mark Arthur, and the hints dropped by Billy Davies, it's not too much of a stretch to work out that Whittingham and Pratley are the two players they are desperately targeting.
Whether we get either, who knows!
