Have you ever considered that you may be forced to get rid of players. You are on a high at the moment but as soon as a few things go against you come back and talk to us then.
Have your moment in the spotlight as we've had our share.:)

maybe your just waiting for whitts & pratley lol
mr zero7 may i pull you on a few of your stupid comments
the loan system is also there for you to use .. if your to tight to use it then fair enough but dont take the moral high ground with those that do .. i think dave jones has done some fantastic business over last 3 weeks with the full backing of the board ... your manager and board are doing feck all and it will cost you i guarantee it .. we have kicked on again from last seasons disappointment but forrest are just stagnant .. and your results to date show
your pleased that you forrest have done things right ?? ... im glad for you lol .. i hope you go to bed tonight with a warm glow that you team have not strengthened whilst your rivals have used the loan system to good effect to bring in premier league players with the aim of going up to said league in the next 9 months
perter ridsdale .. old news my friend ... keep up
you gotta be in it to win it
top of the league says it all
feck buying players .. use the loan system to get there first
My comment on Risdale was written in the past tense?
It looks good for you guys at the moment. But it wasn't too long ago that Forest were top of league one after 10 games, only to have a massive fall down the table, before losing the playoffs. It's a long, long season.

Hi guys, I've decided to stay at Cardiff as they have the better chance of getting promoted. Best of luck.

don't blame you pete , after all cheats ALWAYS prosper so it'll be prem football next year for your lot .

Are the Cardiff fans on here related to itsjoshmeowd by any chance?
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Cardiff fans are so up their own a***. It's 4 games boys, keep your feet on the ground.
Also, do you not have your own forums to go to? I couldn't care less if Whittingham wants to stay at your club, I will lose no sleep.

You still here? Hadn't had enough after you attempted the most feeble wind up seen on this forum so far this season? Jeez your won forums must be dull.
By the way, pressing this key while typing a letter allows you to type capitals (letters not cities).

After 4 games last season we had 2 points, didn't stop us finishing 3rd so we're actually up on last season.
Not like we look like emulating last season with the squad and tactics we have now. They look jaded and devoid of ideas at times especially in midlfield.
I doubt we're an attractive proposition enough to tempt either Whittingham or Pratley. The time to do it was before the season started and not to try and tempt them into joining a team that's made a mediocre start, but then that's they way our board operate - its not the first time they've failed to strengthen a team that made the play offs.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
I agree, it's not the results on paper that make me worried for this season, as it's a fact we are doing better than last season if you want to look at it like that.
What's worrying is the 'mood' coming out of the stadium, the way the players are playing and the complete lack of fresh faces, which I feel is crucial. I don't like doomsaying and I'm the last one to do it usually, but it doesn't look like this will be our season and should we fail to bring anyone in, I can see this quite obvious divide between board and manager getting too stretched.
Well done if you manage to hold on to Whitts in fairness, while I don't agree with the spending of money you don't really have and think it will sooner or later bite you in the arse, it is much more exciting!
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Look whittingham will never sign and is close to a new deal with Cardiff. We wont sign anyone permantley. If we are lucky we will sign one or two on loan.http://www.walesonline.co.uk/cardiff...1466-27154530/

Probably not, but I suspect many of them are quite closely related to one another!
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Why are people putting any trust in Walesonline? It's a reprinting site for articles from the local paper. I lived in Cardiff for four years working a job which kept me involved in a number of local news events. They can't even get the names of dead people right when there's a killing, I certainly wouldn't trust them with news on CCFC.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Whittingham would be stupid to come to us now in all fairness. We have waited far too long now and should have tied the deal up before the season started.

Exactly we had our chance and we didnt take it. Personaly i think we wont sign anyone in this window there may be a few prem players on loan. I think there are very big problems at Forest we are in alot of trouble.

Hopefully not so much trouble, more along the lines of "all will become clear later"
However, it is blatantly obvious that something is amiss, no noises from the club as of yet, im sure come tuesday that the club will have to explain itself to a point, and "we tried but the players didnt want to come", also"we will not pay over the odds" just wont cut the mustard this time im afraid, but im sure it will be some excuse along the same lines.
However reading between the lines, even the most staunch supporters of Doughty and the rest will surely conclude that something is seriously wrong at the moment with NFFC, i just hope that when the truth does out, it bodes well for the future.

Hopefully things can be changed so the club runs smoothly. To be honest, there probably is a problem, but its no way near as bad as Billy suggests. To be honest, i don't want Billy with full control, he does sign some complete ****.
Maybe more condensing of the panel, cutting out MA. Maybe leaving Billy to deal with the bidding issues. I still think Pleat should be there. 2 opinions is better than one. Especially when vast sums of money are involved.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Why do we have Cardiff fans on a Forest Forum? It kind of defeats the point. Oh well, they can be our new whipping boys for a while :)

Why shouldn't we? Surely it adds to the forum. I think its healthy to see fans of other teams on this board, it shows how good it is and its always a nice insight as to what other fans think.
Anyway, agree with a poster further up, this deal should of been tied up way before the season started. If he really did want to come you do have to ask questions as to why the club haven't signed him up. Unless its like the Matt Mills thing where the Donny chairman simply didn't want to sell him to us, the board really have f-d up. I mean it can't be the finances. Look at the Bellamy deal, he signs, revenue increases. A 100+ page thread with nearly 3k replies and over 120k views shows the fans want this player. this cost would be insignificant as to whats recouped.
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
I welcome any fans of other teams just as much as ours if they're constructive, same rules apply, don't really welcome unconstructive NFFC fans either!
Re: The Peter Whittingham Saga
Time for a mahoosive cull then eh, Beasty?
