This is taken from a Football League idea on twitter..

Whats your best moment of this season?

For me it has to be us playing West Brom off the park at The Hawthorns and thinking I was watching Barcelona with all the one touch passing. Also Raddy's goal that day will be a moment I never forget.

Majewski's opener against Derby was simply awesome!

So many to choose from: the mauling of Leicester, beating Newcastle and West Brom, Chambers' last minute winner against Swansea were also magical moments.

Cohen's goal against West Brom.

First time this season I thought we could seriously go up.

It's the goals from McGugan and Chambers, or McKenna being our first proper captain since.....

It's the little things that fill the gaps between Majewski goals and such that do it for me. When I see Moussi stepping in for McKenna, or Garner coming back and getting a couple of goals in a couple of starts. This season is not in the big triumphs, but in the small victories, the ones Billy has bled out of this small, young, previously callow squad. They are granite now. and win or lose in the playoffs* I'm chuffed to f***ing f***.

Of course you could look at it another way - Cohen's amazing season, Camp's amazing season. Wes's amazing season. Kelvin's amazing season. Gunter's amazing season. :D

* Playoffs is playoffs. Remember Yeovil - there was no way they were going to do that to us, was there? Be humble and resolute and we might just make it.

The West Brom game was far and away the best performance, but the D*rby home game was just so great for so many reasons.

When the fixture list came out last June I was gutted. It couldn't be! D*rby at home on Reading Festival weekend. Not fair!

But then after a chat with Mariboom we thought sod it, we'l go anyway!

Required an early start crawling out of my tent at 7am, ears still ringing from Kings of Leon the night before. Went and met Jamie, then headed to Reading station to meet his Dad and Tutts.

Traffic was hideous, and it became a bit of a race against time. It wasn't just a case of missing the first few minutes (which bearing in mind what happened would have been gutting to miss) but Tom (trickytrees12) had my ticket and obviously if it reached kick off time he would have been inside the ground and id have had to have sat outside for the whole game.

Got out of the car and pretty much sprinted there. Arrived at about 12:58 and by time I had climed to the top of VC Corner and found my seat I was knackered, had a pounding headache and was praying the day would be worth it. 55 seconds later and the headache was gone, replaced by pure delerium, hugging random strangers and wondering if I was imagining what had just happened.

The game is a blur, mentally exhausting, but oh so satisfying. At the end of the game I remember finding Jamie and his Dad (As well as a certain Mr Fisher) over by the Trent End and paying some dude in a buger van £4 for 2 luke-warm bottles of coke, the first of which was downed in seconds.

I was pretty much in disbelief for the first hour or so of the journey back, before the weekend caught up on me somewhat and I had a bit of a kip in the back of the car.

We were dropped back on Richfield Avenue, Reading at around tea time, and after saying my goodbyes to Jamie, I wondered through the fields in the sunshine. Everyone was cheerful and excited, but noone had a smile quite like mine. Got back to my tent where friends were waiting to find out if we had won, or whether Id be a total misery for the rest of the weekend.

A few beers down my neck, and a session spent teaching my non footballing friends some Forest songs came next, and then we headed to the arena to catch a blistering set from the Prodigy (during which I bumped into a fellow Tricky all too eager to tell me the score when he saw my Forest shirt and then looked stunned when I told him id gone, and didn't seem to believe me untill I produced my ticket still in my pocket)

A mellow set from the Arctic Monkeys followed and then I partied the night away eventually crawling into my tent long after the sun had come up for a well-earned sleep.

One of my favorite days ever, spent watching 2 of my favorite bands, partying with some great friends, and best of all watching us finally hammer those sheep bastards! :D

Beating Derby for the first time in what seemed like ages.
Tyson and the flag.
Beating Newcastle at home.
Moussi's late late winner against Barnsley.
McGugan's late equaliser against Cardiff.
Totally outplaying Leicester at home.
McGoldrick sealing 3 points at Swansea.
The magnificent performance away at West Brom which had us all believing.
The first half at home to Reading which was the most perfect liquid football we played all season.
Chamber's late winner against Swansea.

19 games unbeaten.
12 straight home wins at the CG.

There's been a few. West Brom game is up there for sure. I was stunned at what i saw that night. McGugan's last minute equalizer against Cardiff (which i think was key to our season), Chambers' goal against Swansea, i don't think i've jumped so high in my life when that went in.

And then of course the D*rby game...

But overall, i think the best memories this season has brought so far, are the amount of praise from other fans and pundits alike that we have received. It's nice to have people coming up to you saying "Forest are doing so well this season, some of the football.. etc..". The unbeaten runs, the hammerings of Leicester and Doncaster. This season has been great, whatever happens in the Playoffs, this has been a season to remember.

You Reds!!!

Watching us demolish West Brom at home live to the nation. Turning to my wife halfway through the move that led to Cohen's goal and saying 'We're starting to take the p*** now and her looking up in time to see the ball going into the net.
The whole crowd applauding the Army boys at the Leicester game. Ripping them to shreds. Their right back being led away after being substituted with what looked like whiplash.

Being able to hold my head high and take plaudits from other teams supporters. Being proud to be a Forest fan again.

It's been a fantastic season.

EmJay, great story mate, n-joi'ed reading that!
There are so many great memories this season, as mentioned above(And hopefully afew more to come too!) but one of mine i think is when we played Boro in the Carling Cup near the start of the season.
After a poor first half in which Boro were in control and we were, well, w**k at half time it looked like it was typical Forest, and we were still stuck in last season's rut.
But in the 2nd half and extra time i saw something in Forest i hadn't seen in a long, long time. We were so good. Flying forward at pace, passing like Arsenal, flicking, heading and even chesting the ball in moves that would of made even Brazil proud, basically taking the piss.
It was then i knew that we were, after long last, at the start of something special at Forest.
P.s. I didn't take a trip at half time either! Lol

Always been proud to be a Forest fan, but actually being able to hold our heads up high again has done it for me. Been a long time coming but well worth the wait :)

So many this season; beating the Sheep at home and West Brom away, beating Newcastle and thrashings handed out to QPR and Doncaster.

But the one that sticks for me is Leicester at home; we absolutely battered them, and could possibly have scored more - first time in years I've seen an opposing team come off the City Ground pitch looking shell-shocked; the emotion of Paul Anderson as he curled in a wonderful goal, then ran away thumping the Forest badge on his shirt; from that game, my previous thoughts of a safe, mid-table season were gone, replaced with "bloody hell, we're really rather good again!"

It was during that game, for me, that the belief came back, that we could challenge with the so-called "big boys" of the division, and that this season would be a successful one!

My seasons memories, where to start, so many to pick from...

Sitting in the stands and watching us play Birmingham, playing them off the pitch in a pre-season friendly, is this Birmingham City from the Premiership?

Could we....nah...

Missing the Portugal trip was the only downside, but because of things out of my hands I couldn't go, add that to a rocky start and the season wasn't starting to look good to me. Memories of a great night out in Snug with a few of the players has to be a highlight too, amazing how down to earth some of them really are.
A poor start to the season though and the only shimmer of light was the arrival of a new talent at the CG, a young Polish international, its funny, it took me several weeks to even pronounce his name! but come the evening of the 29th of August practically every Forest fan was raising their glasses to Radoslaw Majewski. what a goal. what a game. bahhhh.

Maybe...

Then onto the run our Billy took our team, the thrashing of Leicester, watching the Army boys return home to a hero's aviation, one memory stands out, having £1 on 5-0 and 5-1, thanks victor, don't think Mr crouch had that bet that day!
step up Mckenna to drop one in from distance against his former club, finally a captain at the CG who can take a game by the scruff of the neck, his passing might not be up to much, and at sometimes can be infuriating, but as has been so often pointed out to me this season, he's not there for his passing ability.

is it possible...

A lot has been written this season and spoken of our back 4/5, Morgan has yet again proved any doubters wrong and has been a more than adequate championship defender, also being a large section of supporters POTY, Wilson too has "stepped up to the plate" to coin a American phrase, but I think a large portion of that has to be down to Luke Chambers, I know there are scape goats, but I think "Chambo" still has a lot of critics due to what happened under Calderwood, for me, while BD has been in charge Chambers hasn't put a foot wrong, and is always a threat at set plays, and what about Gunter, the young Welsh full back has to be one of the best we've had at the CG since Pearce, surely? (in no way am i comparing the 2).

Another good memory was standing in a freezing cold line outside Birmingham, waiting for what seemed a lifetime to get into the ground with only the thinnest of tops on, I don't know if I mentioned it, But I was COLD that night, and to top it off, we should of won that game, Birmingham, 8th I think at the time, and in one word poor.

Then Reading, and QPR, what a game, Don't think Mr Crouch had 5-0 that game either...I did.

Thanks Victor...again

Starting to believe....

Moving on to Leicester away, walking past the old Filbert street it was the first time I'd been to the new Walkers stadium, after I probably wished I hadn't. but even that day could of been different, remember Earnshaw hitting the bar? oh and chants of "you fat b***ard" ringing around the stadium to fat boys drum, the truffle shuffle was a step to far, Wilson starts limping....BD "Chambo ya ballbag, siddown ya shite"

ahhh... I knew we couldn't....

Swansea at home, ended up sitting in the Main stand, at the front, near the corner flag, Still freezing, and having to listen to old father time next to me tell me all the way through the game just how rubbish we are compared to the "old teams". I so wanted to say Bah humbug. funny how he was bouncing around like a 17yr old nympho when Chambers popped up at the back post.

Thanks Victor again...£1 Chambers to score anytime and 1st scorer

ok...so maybe its back on...

up to Preston, apparently they'll never finish that stadium, BD factor weighed in again, just like Derby, according to BD. poor first half performance was more apparent, but the 2nd half was back to being brilliant, too little too late. sat in a hotel in Scotland to be told by Sky Sports that we were poor at Barnsley.

Ughhhh....

return of harty, JP not shaking Billy's hand, MORGAN THUNDERBOLT! then sitting in Southbank with everything crossed hoping we don't get raped by Newcastle. Camp pulling off some cracking saves that night, as he has all season, what a revelation, I wasn't in the Anti-Smith camp (pardon the pun) but I always rated Camp, and now even the media rate him as an outside chance to go to South Africa.

Cardiff on TV, Could of won that, and the return of Roy, thanks Mr Keane, we needed those 3pts.

Game on...

The sky outside is dull and grey, but in my heart its bright and warm, I've always been a proud Forest fan, now I am a beaming proud Forest fan, 3rd in the CCC is a massive achievement, no matter what happens in the Playoffs.

well done lads

I believe.
