If you could pick your top 3 favourite Forest goals (but not in any order) what would they be? There are some absolute beauties to choose from, mine would be....

Marlon Harewood's solo goal against Crystal Palace at home (forgot date)

Johnny Metgod's free kick against West Ham at home 1986.

Stuart Pearce's free kick against Man Utd away 1990.

Randy Bumgardener

AKA Randy Bumgardener
Ian Woan vs Newcastle

Psycho vs Spurs

Chettle vs Bayern Munich

Bob McKinlay
Pearce free kick v Coventry - FA Cup Semi 91

Van Hooijdonk - turn and volley from a throw in, from corner of the box, went in far top corner. Subliminal.

Tie for 3rd between Des Walker's & Steve Chettle's v Bayern Munich ;D

Johnny Metgod free kick v Man United to win 3-2 with the last kick of the game. Place went mental.

Stuart Pearce v Spurs, FA Cup Final. Abject pandemonium behind our goal. Never experienced anything like it. Ever.

Sir Trev v Malmo. I only wish I had been there.

Will never forget Chett's goal ! The goal itself wasn't spectacular, but the occasion of scoring, then falling in the shot put circle was quite a moment !

1. Stan Collymore vs Peterborough. 2-0 down, win 3-2 and get promoted with an incredible goal. Sheer poetry.
2. Ian Woan vs Newcastle. Only Martin fisher's commentary will ever do that goal justice. If anyone knows where I could listen to that'd be great.
3. Gareth Taylor vs Sheffield Utd. Certainly not a top 3 goal per se, but the importance of that win that basically kept us up, especially after all that had gone on vs United in recent seasons meant a hell of a lot to me. Sheer pandemonium.

Garry Parker vs Everton (Simod Cup Final 1989)

Stuart Pearce vs Man Utd (Freekick at Old trafford 1990)

He did a Cruyff turn near the touchline infront of the mainstand not far off the halfway line, then legged it down the wing, cut in and blasted it in from an impossible angle.

It was against Bradford I think.

Gareth Taylor's goal was indeed against Bradford.

We'd not won for 18 games and he popped up in the 87th minute to score the winner and I went mad!

I was sat in the front row of the lower-Trent at the time and was forced onto pitch by everyone pushing forward from behind me.

It was a case of jumping over the barrier to avoid being knocked over!

I've never liked Taylor one bit, but for that one goal, he was a hero!

Other than that:

Stanley against Posh and yes, I'll go with Chettle against Bayern.

Can't believe I actually witnessed all three in the flesh and not just on TV!

1. Ian Storey-Moore against Everton in the Cup, back in the late 60s.

2. Colin Barrett v Liverpool in the European Cup.

3. Robbo's penalty against Liverpool in the League Cup Final replay. That goal won us the first of the many trophies which followed in the next few years.
