No matter the result, we have genuine excuses. Injuries, suspensions and no depth

Only the latter can be blamed on the club really. We should have signed atleast one player, but we didnt. End of.

We threw everything we had at them. People will argue that we should have killed it off but they were as much in the game through out as we were

Saturday will be tough as we will be depleted through more injuries and tiredness, but look on the bright side - it hasnt affected the league and hopefully will keep our eyes on the real prize of safety

No-one will be happy with the result, no-one will appreciate the loss BUT we need to move on and not dwell on tonight

Come one Forest, bounce back and actually give us something to shout about!!!

Is there really any excuses ::)

I am sure you are right mate but I am just too f**ked off to even consider the positives at the moment. If we lose on Sat we are serious trouble considering the games we have coming up.

I wasn't there. I'll wait for the judgement of those who were - but from distance 2 up in 15 to lose 2-3 is pretty horrible.

With our lack of any real subs they were always going to get stronger as the game went on.
Going to take some performance to win the league game now.

True...however, we should have been able to rely on those experienced heads in our defence...

Davies was already making the same excuses before the match. sorry but there's no acceptable excuse to throw away a 2 goal lead. The only teams that do throw 2 goal leads away are poor teams. :( We can make up for it againist Derby in a couple of weeks but what i'm really worried about is that the board and management have forgot we're in a relegation battle because of our great run since colin left. It was men versus boys in the second half.

i am keeping positive but im looking at it realisticly 1st half was good
second went down hill fast

It's possible that our squad could be even thinner for the league game against the shaggers in a couple of weeks. That doesn't really bear thinking about does it?

It was men versus boys the whole game...look at the relative ages of the players on both sides!!! The difference was the boys played better than Derby's prima donna's in the first half, then tired in the second half.

Not being funny, but if we get many more injuries surely they will have to postpone a game or two. We won't be able to field a team if we get any more.

Sadly not, the depth of our academy means we could never pull that excuse...

you're right, but i was thinking of the boys who came off the bench. Hardly had more than a few subs appearances between them.

Good interview Billy. :)

Took every opportunity to remind the interviewer that we have a very tiny squad of mostly very young players. :aggresive:

If we had some depth then the injuries and suspensions wouldnt matter......

1- CC shouldn't of been so light on the training then! the players have to actually work there muscles now and can't perform to it!

2- well we shouldn't be soo dirty and foul players then should we!

3- well we should out pulled our fingers out and signed some one then its not other clubs faults for us not signing any one

1 - Its not exactly CC's training if players are kicking lumps out of us!

2 - Players are given stupid yellows for kicking the ball away yes, but we also get stupid yellows for no reason

3 - If we offer money and they turn it down, then yes it is other teams fault ;)

With this said, I do see your point to number 2

I was, Smith for me was poor for the most part, he wouldn't come for anything, Tyson run his proverbial's off, Perch was a huge loss. if those that watched it are honest 2-0 flattered us, and the inexperience showed.

On a more positive note, this is a team being built for the future, we need to commit players to the club and bring in experience, I'm still in disbelief that we didnt bring anyone in.

yh pt1 was a weak pt. but 2 we know the refs r shit so we shouldnt do things that may cost us.

and for 3 we should offer more money , or have a back up plan
