Just looked that up - great statue.Boots around the neck, reminds me of the classic statue of Cloughie in the park in Middlesborough as he runs through to training. It's my favourite of him.

I’ll give him half a season before I rank him with Yatesy.I don't know about anyone else but to me this guy has real 'cult hero' energy. Bit like Yatesy.
If he comes remotely close to filling that gap left by Ando, then the Ando-out Schlager-in bit of business will be one of the best exchanges ever considering the fees involved.I don't know about anyone else but to me this guy has real 'cult hero' energy. Bit like Yatesy.
You'd probably have to factor in Glasner as well since it seems he was likely key in getting him and knowing how to use him but yeah, even if he only works as a stop-gap until January it seems like reasonable business. If he comes remotely close to filling that gap left by Ando, then the Ando-out Schlager-in bit of business will be one of the best exchanges ever considering the fees involved.
If is doing a lot of hard work there...If he comes remotely close to filling that gap left by Ando, then the Ando-out Schlager-in bit of business will be one of the best exchanges ever considering the fees involved.
Yet to see what he offers in an actual game so far. Touch is heavy, looks like he is running in treacle and the turning circle of a tank.
Please say this is sarcasm?Yet to see what he offers in an actual game so far. Touch is heavy, looks like he is running in treacle and the turning circle of a tank.

Genuinely isnt sarcasm, obviously all the reactions to my post mean I am missing something. Must be just me, sometimes you just cant see what a player brings and this is one of them for me.Please say this is sarcasm?
Occasionally even great football managers miss out on great players because they cant see what they offer. Not claiming to be any football genius but this is just one of those players for meMaybe football isn’t for you mate - no offence meant
Chalk this one down to you not paying attention to him today.Genuinely isnt sarcasm, obviously all the reactions to my post mean I am missing something. Must be just me, sometimes you just cant see what a player brings and this is one of them for me.
Always happy to admit I am wrong, will see if my opinion changes over the next few gamesChalk this one down to you not paying attention to him today.
He broke things up all over the pitch, he chased everything down. Put his body in and was composed playing out and always looking to play through the lines.
He and McAtee were magnificent today.
A rare trait with football supporters.Always happy to admit I am wrong, will see if my opinion changes over the next few games
Now’s a good time thenAlways happy to admit I am wrong

Funnily enough my son was saying the same as you, I was the opposite, I'm not for looking at stats but on the eye successfull pass and tackling must be in the high percentile, he is playing for Glasner and the team, nothing fancy but puts in the graft and is successful doing so.Yet to see what he offers in an actual game so far.
