Would our reserve XI survive in the championship?

Lets assume this is our strongest line up:

1. Camp
2. Gunter
3. Cohen
4. Wes
5. Wilson
6. McKenna
7. Ando
8. Raddy
9. Earnie
10. Dex
11. Nato

So it would probably be:

1. Smith
2. Lynch
3. Bennett
4. Perch
5. Chambers
6. Moussi
7. Garner
8. McGugan
9. Adebola
10. McGoldrick
11. McCleary

Thankyou and good afternoon.

That's worse than the team that only just survived last year.

But in reality you need a full squad to survive in the championship - so the 1st team alone would get relegated too

Good enough to take 6 points from Derby.

That second 11 has potential to hammer anyone but could also go on a bad losing streak. I dunno. I'd be worried about back up if that was our strongest 11. Probably anywhere in the bottom 8.

Interesting thread actually this.

To start, Chambo can replace Wilson in the first team.

Otherwise, while interesting, it is a squad that is used over a season, not just 11 players. I think'd they'd do alright, especially with Billy in charge. He did get Derby promoted after all...

I think Billy doesn't have a startiong XI, so much as a pool of players he can pick from to ensure the greatest return against any particular opponent.

For example, Garner was deployed against Savage as he would wind him up, but Anderson was deployed in that same position against Newcastle as his flair was more important.

Good point buddy...to be honest modern day football isn't about the team is it?...With all the football played it has become a squad game...I still firmly believe you need some sort of settled team/spine to achieve consistency.
What do you think of garner then? Im not sure still..not a bad substitute to cause abit of havoc later on but hasn't done much for me.

Yeah, they'd be much better deployed on the left wing.
