But I would rather Billy than CC ! Non bullshit as they say in Francois lol !
This is still CC's team. I do still feel an affection to this bunch of players but we need leaders. CC seemed afraid of bringing them in, but Billy seems to relish the challenge of strong mind and personalities in the club !

I don't think it really matters who is in charge if we go down.
At this time - credit crunch and all - relegation would be catastrophic for the club.
Ordinarily it's a bad thing, but in the current climate, a large swathe of even the die-hards will have to put mortgage before 3rd division, overpriced underwhelming football.
The club would recognise this and would necessarily 'cut its coat according to its cloth' - i.e. in the absence of a decent revenue from ticket sales, then the amount of available cash for transfers would dwindle.
Plus, who would sign for a 3rd division club...look at the struggle we had last few seasons, but remove a chunk of the money from that scenario.
That fluttering sound is the noise of pigeons coming home to roost, as my mum says.

it doesn't really matter if he says or not if we go down because any decent players we have will be gone and i would be surprised if we sell 10,000 season tickets so that means no decent players coming in either.
