Worst performance of the season?

Surely has to go to the Brum fans. I have never been to St Andrews before but their fans ticked all the boxes of my preconceptions of Brummies. The miserable sods!

You're 2nd in the f***ing league!

I know we don't have the best home support by any stretch of the imagination. But we have been to the depths of hell and back, and we're flirting with relegation. Even with all that we still manage to create a passable atmosphere and always have decent banter with the away fans.

But Birmingham City supporters? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. 1-0 they sang for around 2mins. 2-0 about 4mins. They should be ashamed of themselves. It almost made me proud to be part of a group of supporters with a modicum of passion.

I have been to 30 away grounds, and that was the worst home support, given their posistion, I have ever seen.

I didn't go today, but listened to the match on Radio Nottingham; all you could hear (until the last ten minutes or so!) was the Forest fans; sounded like magnificent away support again.

Well done to all who went!

I went today with my old man. Saw a RICE #12 too.

As far as the match goes, both teams were shite. On another day we could've won it had we played Thornhill.

Cohen, Garner, Morgan and Wilson never got into the game. When Jerome came on he posed more of a threat than Phillips as they were dominating in the air.

Surprisingly McGugan seemed to find the start of some form. Tyson never really had too many opportunities, and when he did the bobbly surface did no help to his already slightly dodgy control/technique.

First goal really scrappy, ball crossed in from left, looked like ?Wilson missed his header and bobbled off of M.Bent to the ground for him to sweep home after hitting a Forest player ?Perch on the way in. Second goal young player #30 again on left side, looked like he tried to cross it in and took a deflection off one of the lads and went up and over Smith who didn't attempt to wave an arm or anything - so much for a shot stopper, eh?

Continuing on from "shot stopper", that is all us fans ever defend Smith with.. and it did really piss me off that people kept saying it all the way through - but that IS all he is good at. Sitting behind him this game his kicking did look better than when ive seen him previously, but his decision making re: coming for balls is still shocking.

Prediction v Derby: we're going to get spanked.

Listening on the radio I had a little chuckle when the commentator (who is shocking, bring back the other guy!!) said something about the first ten rows of each stand being empty :p :p

The Birmingham fair-weather fans must be seriously fickle if a place in the top six isn't good enough at this stage in the season

The Brum fans were terrible. I didnt even hear them sing after they got the 1st goal. There was a small chant after the 2nd but nothing else. I was told this fixture could be quite intimidating for away fans,, but as with the cardiff game the other week,, it was the complete opposite!. Credit to our fans though,, another good vocal following away from home,, even when we went 2-0 down the songs kept going. Thats why i love being a forest fan and going to away matches,, we may not always get the result we want, but we always try to make a good day of it.

I was right over by the away fans, was proper winding them up. Loads of fun... Even when we were ripping into them, there was literally only 10 of them giving any back.

They sung a bit at 2-0 up.

And the only song I heard was "where' your famous Brian Clough". Dirty Brum bastards, I hope their club goes bust. Villa > Wolves > WBA > Walsall > Birmingham Shitty.

Having a club owned by two porn barons and being investigated by the serious fraud office, I suppose they've got very little to sing about!

They were terrible in during the whole game. Worse than Coventry.
Those are the only two games I have been to so far this season as well!

I went to St Andrews earlier in the season to watch B'ham vs Ipswich and it was a library then as well so doesn's like it was just the case today.

To be fair to the B'ham supporters at 30 quid a ticket against one of the teams flirting with the relegation zone it was a decent attendance they just didn't make any noise!

Well, as an ethnic Brummie of sorts I can't agree that they are in general 'miserable sods!' But you are right, the Blues home fans can be a very funny lot. The Villa home crowds are much better.

Today reminded me of what we were like last season. We expected to thrash everybody we came against and when it never came we resortedto a good old moan. It still happens to an extent this season but not nearly as bad.

They were very poor fans. Last time I saw such bad fans were a few years ago when I went to Deepdale.

I fort the brum fans would of been abit Intimidating but just before kick off there was no fans there hardly. They only made a sound when they scored and even then the forest fans would make them shut up by sininging again.
Good day out to brum. wouldnt go again tho, really s**t fans!

Ah yes, St. Andrews. The bowels of a thoroughly uninspiring urban sprawl, and the scene of the greatest save of all time by Dave Beasant around 8-9 years ago, if anyone remembers that one! Horrible inside and out, and what the hell is that stand with the weird roof in the middle all about? Attendances, pretty average considering theyre just out of the Prem and they're in the 2nd city, serving millions of people, even with Villa being there.

I'm not surprised at what people have said about their support, it's even tangible how bad it is when you see them on TV. I can barely stand to watch any game in which such a mediocre football set up are involved in. Summed up was the unceremonious switching off of Birmingham v Forest on ITV sports which failed to register over 1,000 viewers and summed up the channel's demise.

I've not even got anything against the club per se, or indeed Brummies who I quite like. They're just a rubbish club arent they, who need to try going down to league one for 3 years if they fail to get up for a nice and easy routine 2-0 victory which cements their place in the top 2.
