I'd quite like to say Danny Sonner but I'm probably being a bit harsh.

Eugene Dadi was a very poor acquisition.

There have been some awful ones, but me, I'd be hard pushed to look beyond Gary Jones.

Taylor gave his all and was fully committed to the club even if he wasn't the most gifted / talented. His goals kept us in the CCC under BFJ. He was harshly treated by Megson and didn't deserve a lot of the abuse he got from the fans - especially considering that Jonno was doing the square root of f*** all and getting hero worshipped.

Johno will always be worshipped despite not being that good, though.

He scored 29? goals in a season that got us into the play-offs. A lot of Forest fans wear blinkers and only see what they want to see.

I agree with you by the way.

Irrespective of the goals he scored, he was the worst player I've ever seen in the gari. Purely personal opinion, of course.

EDIT: Jack, just so you know, I wasn't being nasty. I just thought you were younger than you were.

My sister was born in 92 and will be in year 11 when she goes back. Time flies. I remember going to the hospital when she was born!

If value for money is taken into account then some more costly purchases might warrant a shout.

But for lack of ability and application there is no-one to match Dadi in my mind. Anyone who went to Woking one September evening for a JPT match will surely agree with me....... :mad:

Danny Sonner. Probably the worst professional footballer I've ever seen, not just in a Forest shirt.

I'm not normally one to verbally single out playeres, but I can still vividly remember one occasion where I made an exception for Sonner. I think it was against Burnley at the City Ground and Sonner was getting routinely skinned by Chaplow, whilst showing a positional ineptitude on a level bordering incompetence and without fail managing to miss a fellow garibaldi shirt with every single attempted pass.

So annoyed was I, that I actually stood up and shouted "Just f*** off Sonner, you're f***ing shit.". I was applauded by the entire block sitting around me.
