To celebrate our link up with paddypower we are giving you the chance to win £50 worth of bets adding to your paddypower account.

All you need to do is predict what the score will be in Forest 1st game of the season (away at Reading).

To be eligible to win the £50 worth of bets you must have signed up for a paddypower account using the links on this site, users who already had a paddypower account before 30th June 2009 are not eligible for this competition.

To enter the competition please post your prediction in here (don't post a prediction if you haven't registered a paddypower account using our links!) in the event of a tie the winner will be selected at random from all correct entries. This thread will be locked shortly before kickoff and any posts edited after kickoff will not be included.

You do not need to place a bet with paddypower on the scoreline you predict.... but if your that confident it's got to be worth a go!

Current odds on the Reading v Forest game can be found here

The prize: £50 will be added to the winners paddypower account and this can be used to bet how you want from 50 x £1 bets to 1 £50 bet, it will be your choice, in the event that no one correctly predicts the final score the prize will be used in a future competition.

In the event that 2 or more people correctly predict the scoreline the winner of the £50 worth of bets will be selected at random.

Having signed up to Paddypower, I whacked £20 in there.

I've bet £10 that big bad Dele will be our first league scorer at 4/1
£10 that we will be unbeaten against Les-dar and Direby over the season at 9/2

I then got given a free £10 which I have bet on us finishing in the top six at 7/2

Now if only I'd been less optimistic in my score prediction against Reading, I might've won £50 more to bet stupidly - but we shall surely pummel Reading now?

No one went for 0-0 so i'll have to see what paddypower say about another competition next week, maybe they should just give it to me!

Thank you Mr Flagman, this thread will be replaced with our new competition very soon. The prize is bigger and hopefully we will have a winner this time!
