Interesting thought about finishing 3rd and flopping the play-offs being the usual because its deflating to miss automatic. I don't think we'd fall foul of that, because we'd still be chuffed to bits with being in the mix after the shite of last season. If it does go to play-offs, we'll have every chance.

He did...but his successor brought in St. Ledger and preferred him. At the time, that was a questionable decision to me, as from highlights shows St. L:edger always seemed to be the one making mistakes, scoring OGs and the like.
However, they have both gone on to be very good Championship level defenders...
