Wilson out, Becchio/Morison in...

It's Baggio

John Robertson

Kelvin Wilson is ready to quit Nottingham Forest to sign for Celtic - at the second attempt.
The centre-half is set to sign a pre-contract with the Glasgow giants at the start of next month and either join them next season for nothing or move to the SPL for a low fee. Celtic manager Neil Lennon tried to sign Wilson last summer but was priced out of the swoop. Now he - and the player - have waited and the move will finally go through.

Forest boss Billy Davies is preparing a £2million raid on Championship rivals Millwall for striker Steve Morison. Morison has emerged as one of the most coveted strikers outside the Premier League, with 33 goals in just 73 appearances for the Lions. The former Stevenage forward already has 10 goals this term and made his Wales debut in August against Luxembourg. Davies will attempt to steal the 27-year-old in the New Year and boost his promotion mission at the City Ground. Forest will be without Dexter Blackstock for at least another 12 months and are anxious for more firepower.

Leeds’ Luciano Becchio is another target, withDavies desperate to splash the cash when the transfer window opens. He said: "My biggest concern is the January transfer window. We are already discussing players, we are already talking about targets and options. "I have great confidence that in January the ambition of Forest will be shown by the faces we bring in and the work we do.’ "I am very confident that the job can still be done, in terms of getting out of the Championship."

Would really like to see Morison here but £2 Million seem a lot IMO

Are Celtic chucking in a free sofa or something ?

Hopefully we'll get them both in.. Be two great signings.

Thanks for posting Its Baggio. But I think we could be setting ourselves up for more January dissapointment.
Hopefully not though and think it would be one or the other rather than both.

So, potentially we lose a centre back and gain two more strikers?

Is Billy aware that other positions are available? :hey:

He is a Scottish son of the Manse - He only does Missionary, and even then never of the Sabbath.

The Morrison* story is being reported in The Sun today

*(Steve, not W.M.)

Man, we're determined to turn ourselves into club wales here. Morison, Gunter, Ramsey, Earnie. Who's next? Ched Evans?

But we're being taken over by a new Irish consortium and the people who built Wembley or something aren't we? Vital said so!

It will piss millwall fans off, let's do it. Give them them Garner

Amusingly enough, the sofa's been replaced with some crunchy nut cornflakes lol
